JOURNAL: SQ (StandardQuip )

  • The Twin Star! 2003-06-06 20:22:25 BAM! TTS is DONE. I finished it today, the day I got home.
It ended up that I only spend around 14 hours on it, but it was really spread out, only like one hour a day so I guess that helps the brain edit better or something.

Anyway, the link will probably be up later(and will most likely be Local) but here's the video information anyway.

  • !! ATTENTION UK PEOPLE!! 2003-06-03 07:04:38 Animatrix episodes are bein shown on Channel 5 at midnight! Last night was "World Record", and they go in order from there. Just thougth you'd like to know. I'm in England again, now, and I've got to get off this 56k. G'day.
  • BAM! 2003-06-02 15:20:22 I'm in Wales. Not using my own comp, though.. This si free, gotta get off soon.. Look at all the things I can make on the Welsh keyboard!
    ¬`£~

Well, anyway, this is a great vacation. Have to say, though, that I like Wales a lot more than England!(And I dislike welsh keyboards).
  • England.... Continued. 2003-05-28 16:32:21 Right, so. Headlines like that make you wonder: "Am I in a sexiest country?" Since when were Legos only for boys anyway? I mean, I played with legos when I was younger. Does that make me a guy? I mean, is there some law that says legos are only for guys? I always thought that legos were unisex. Just because there's a picture of a guy playing with the legos on the box doens't make them strictly for males, does it? I mean, it's never stopped me from buying guys' jeans and shirts.(The guys have better designs on their shirts, anyway.)
And "Are you scruffy enough to pull?" Psh. Sure, that's in right now, the 'scruffy' look, but do they have to say it that way in the paper?
Oh, back to the legos. They have had girl legos anyway, a long time a go. They wern't the lego BRAND, but they were still legos. They were all pink and I think they were from playmobile or somehting. I remember having a big box of pink legos...

    Onto other things..

Water. I've never heard of a place that charges for water. London does that all the time. You know how you automatically get water in a resturaunt in the states? Not here. You have to ask, and then they charge you 0.o Well, I guess that's okay, if they have to use bottled water, and all.
But then they have so many ways to refer to water!
"Still or Sparkling?" , "Gassed or no gas?" , "Distilled or club?" All those mean the same thing, can't they just choose one phrase? 0.o I'm so confused.

An then, there's the milk issue. They have "Skimmed" (Okay, Skim milk, easy enough.) and then they have "Semi-skimmed" what the...? My mom guessed it was 2% milk. Okay, whatever. So I drank it, and of course practically every country but the US likes their milk warm, and not cold, so when I drank it I practically threw up. The milk was room temperature; you could tell it had been warm at some point in time...
And then it gave me cramps afterwards. Maybe It's just me, because I'm picky about milk, or maybe it's their milk. I don't know...

Despite those things, I really like England. When I get back home, or have more time to be on here, I'm going to write a travel guide for you. What you should see, and what is overrated and not worth it. Yes, that will be good.

If you want to get in contact with me, PM me, my email seems to be filling up too much between these intervals, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get back on here. Next week, we go to Wales. W00t!

Oh! I descided to work on my Sonic comic. I've finished one panel so far. I need to ink and color a few panels, though. I decided I'd save coloring for the plane ride home. It takes longer, anyway. I really need a name for this comic.. Oh, man, my sonic comic is no happy go lucky comic either. I just drew the 13th Panel, and in that one, someone dies. -small pout- Kind of a shame too, there wasn't very much character devolpment...

Well, anyhow, that's all for now. All this time in England has me talking in the English slang, but not dialect. I think in an english accent now. >.> Like, when I read books, or as I write this, in my head a little voice in my head with an English Accent reads to me... Oh boy.. It's kind of funny.

    Right, NOW I'm done.

If I've offended an English person, I didn't mean to.
