BAM!
2003-06-27 12:51:01
I need to wake up.
From my insane tiredness.
stupid exaustion.
I can live!
Anyway, I saw Kikaider last night on Adult swim,
and I just wanted to know,
was that the last episode?
Because if it was,
thank God.
I can now sleep in.
And if it wasn't, I'll
have to loose more sleep.
wee.
Anyway, the AMV is up for download now.
Sorry about the so-so quality. =s
You're probably wondering
why I'm typing like this.
And frequently pushing
"enter."
Well, it's so you don't have
to scroll side to side,
because of what I did with my
stupid slash expirement
a few entries a go. =s
Yes.
I am nice.
So be greatful.
-
It's here.
2003-06-27 12:27:12
Indeed.
I'm tired.
Insanely tired.
I had another dream about Anime Jedi.
I tell you it gets wierder by the minute.
and I'm 1/4 Cherokee, so we usually thing dreams mean something. =s
Anyway, all my escaflowne DVDs came back, but I'm still missing 4 DVDs of Gundam Wing, and Ghost in the Shell. They should be returned otday if all goes well.
I'm uploading the remastered version of WMUI right now, so you can view the info page here:
http://animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=19441
After this uploads, and if all goes well, I'll be working on the escaflowne video.
The music is Era's "The Mass"
I found their website, too! Boy, is it awesome!
Here it is:
http://era-music.artistes.universalmusic.fr/
Don't skip the intro, make sure you have flash and music in browser turned on. =]
So anyhow, I'm off for now. I'd rather not elaborate on the dream with Kevin in it. He made another wierd appearance, and that was about it.
Atleast he had dialogue in this dream, though.

Wake Me Up Inside [REMASTERED]
2003-06-26 15:30:59
Okay, since I can't do my equal sign then slash, I'll just do this: =s
Kind of the smae, I guess.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I've finished the remastered version. It's like Director's cut, lol.
Stereo sound instead of mono, no playback error in DivX, more stills(but cool ones on Guitar riffs), much better cuing of the old stuff, Sara's death was inserted where the "funny" memory of Sara and Setsuna was before(with better cuing!), and then there's an all new, much better ending.
Now, I always get the "There's gotta be something to do before I put it up for download" syndrome. So, I've been sending this vid to lots of Beta testers. So far, everyone is either no help or is doing something else.
One person got it from me, and then did a crap job of critiquing it (Well, two people), and then one guy who got it had to pack for a vacation so couldn't critique when he got it.
And then there's WuWu, who was just being WuWu... >.>
I'm sick of the "Wow, that was good"
or "That sucked"!
I need the "Here, here, and here looks wrong"
and the "There, there, and there, the cuing doesn't match up"!!
THAT helps me!
Well, burntoast did that, but unfortunetly he got the beta before this one, which was just the old one recued, basically. =s.
So anyway, if you think you can critque well, send an IM my way.
Compressed with DivX 5.0.2 PRO, no playback error, 33mb, I have DSL.

WHAT THE SLASH!!!???
2003-06-25 12:40:03
Okay, this is really REALLY wierd!
I think I'm either hallucinating or somehting is really odd with the journal.
I keep putting in slashes (\\\\\\/////////) <--- Lots of slashes.
And I SEE them.
But then, when I make the entry, I don't see the slashes any more!!!
I'm going to put in a lot of slashes now. (the one that's underneath the questionmark key).
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Okay, that's three rows of slashes. Now for the other slash (the one on "|" key)
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
That's three rows of the other type of slash.
Now let's see if they appear.
If they don't, this journal will look entirely crazy.

Dum de do de dum...
2003-06-25 12:35:49
So I was so sure I'd work on the remaster all day yesterday.
And then guess what happened?
I didn't.
I seem to faintly remember opening premiere up in the morning and then closing it without doing anything for some reason. I role played for a while, and when to guys got in a TB fight I left until it was over.
TB fights last FOREVER! I was in one that lasted for TWO WEEKS! And I just gave up because I was bored of fighting. I told the guy I was fighting against "Hell with this, we've been fighting practically every day for two weeks, If it's not over today, I quit."
So I did.
And He called me a moder.
But that was a long time a go.
ANYWAY!
I opened up premiere when I got off from rp, and watched over the remaster, then, right when I was about to start editing, someone IMed me that the fight was over, so I immediately went to rp again.
And that how I went about not editing. =
Yes, I'd like to make a statement about the last entry in here. For some odd reason, I kept not hitting the slash ( "" ) when I hit it. So every "=" in the last entry was supposed to be a "=". I don't know what went wrong there. =
I also managed to watch a whole lot of anime yesterday, too. It seemed that yesterday was plot twist day! W00t!
In Digimon: Final Frontier, Koji's twin brother (!?!) fights with Koji and loses, going back to his human form. They learn eachother's past, Koji's brother finds the true power of the darkness spirit, and then goes off to kill the dude that had been feeding him lies all this time about Koji.
It sounds like some freakish Kingdom Hearts storyline, but it was cool and thouroughly entertaining! =]
In Yu-Gi-Oh! all is revealed when Yugi speaks with Meric, who wants to take over the world and make Yami his slave. Wow, talk about your let downs!
In Kenshin, Himura finds the master forge of the original reverse-blade sword and fights the sword collector, and odd badass twin of Trigun's Vash, with it. Then, Kenshin gets the sword ritually from the forger's son, and Kenshin's off on his journey to wherever. Meanwhile, all the girls and Yahiko crash into eachother looking for Kenshin, who just left.
In Kikaider, Jiro is taken control of by his freak younger brother, by whistling! Then Jiro goes through some dramatic stress and emotional problems. Not as plot twisting as the episode before that, but just as heart quencing. The thing that gets me, though, is the stupid American director who decided that Jiro's brother can whistle AND talk at the same time.
In InyuYasha, the Tetsusaiga was stolen, some mad fighting happened, lots more emotional tension, and mystery. Can't really elaborate much because InyuYasha isn't one of my favorite series.
The thing about InyuYashi that I don't get is this:
How come the Tetsusaiga is a huge sword at some points, and then randomly the same size as a katana at other times?
How come when Inyuyasha slid the sword into its sheath blade down, it ended up blade up? (Without the sword getting caught in the scabbard, no less!!)
And how come the tsuba(hand guard) is gold at some intervals, and then has the wierd skin with the fur coming off it at others?
That really bugs me.
Is there sensorship we don't know baout? Are they cutting out all the scenes with the dramatic Tetsusaiga transformations? Are they? Are they?!
And I also want to know who the little boy is standing behind the big white demon that kind of resembles Inyuyasha in the last scene of the ending sequence.
Who is he?
Why can we not see his face?
Is he InyuYasha?
Is there some mystery between the two of them?
are they brothers?
Heh. You can tell this is the first time I've seen INyuYasha!
Well, actually it isn't. I saw one other episode.. And that was the one when InyuYasha was freed and the jewel was shattered....
Anime Jedi:
You didn't really help me find the dog, you just kind of stood there and watched. It was really odd. =
You got part of the award anyway, I'm really don't remember what it was, but I'm pretty sure it was around the $700 mark.
I think on it now, and I just remember you standing there, staring.. -shiver-
But hey, props for you! you really DO look like an anime character!
