Well, anyway, CnC is going... SLOOOWLY.... And Jealousy I was unable to finish yesterday. =

Anyway, I HAVE to get it done today because tomorrow's the deadline and I know it'll take all day/night to send in the stupid video... And if I don't finish Jealousy today then, well, it's obviously not going to go to Yaoicon....
But I still like the AMV. Goodness....
Anyway, can't wait 'till AWA!!! 4 weeks!!! WOO!!!

I have never been so.... Tired of editing. You kinda have to have used an AVIO to understand, this.. But if you ever herre "Yeah, we can edit it on the AVIO" run... And as fast as you can!
So that said, You'd know there wasn't much progress with CnC today! =s
Tutterbudder: I wish I had a chinese/tawainese/Japanese place nearby... I am missing out on SO much good, cheap anime OSTs.....

Yeah. We're getting back stuff and I don't want to work on the SQ Portrait. I'm a lazy person.

Right. But seriously. I've had all night and day to think baout htis one, and it's a SERIOUS entry. (Pardon the abundance of typos. iMacs make me type wierd...)
Wuwu and I were talking yesterday, and the subject of fangirls and boys came up. Then it kinda went like this:
Him: "This one guy PMed me, complimented my work, and then pimped his crap"
Me: Well, sometimes that's unintentional. Unless you specifically say "...
Him: He was Gnestarwind [21221](I think those are the numbers)
Me: No way? He did that to me, too!
Him: Really?
Then he started talking bad about Gene. I had many objections, but then Wuwu said one PIVOTAL line that made me lash out.
"He needs to learn how to edit the hard way, like you."
NO.
NO one should learn how to edit like me.
Wuwu said he didn't reply to the PM.
I told wuwu that I LIKED what Gene was doing.
Sure, his way was a little upfront, but that's because there really is no other way.
At least Gene WANTS to get better. He PMed "elite"s because he WANTS help.
He LIKES editing, and asking for an opinion so he can GET BETTER is NOT bad.
In fact, it's good.
I wish I were like Gene and did that.
Everyone is talking about how AMVs now-a-days suck, and a lot of people are making shit vids, and then Omnistrata and Arigatoma(sp.) are going on about how we should leave ops to help them get better... Well, Omni And Arigitoma are RIGHT.
GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND LEAVE SOME OPINIONS.
I'm not saying go for the goal of being "most opinionated" or anything. I'm just saying leave SOME opinions. If someone PMs you asking for an op, do it. That's one more helped out person.
Hell, *I* give out free opinions to whoever asks. It's in my profile for godsakes!
Now, I'll admit I'm lazy and I don't write an opinion EVERY DAY.... But if you leave ONE opinion, that's one more person helped then if you had been an ass and not wrote something.
If someone WANTS help... You give it to them...
The reason WHY most vids are crap, is because these people are TRYING to learn on their own...
... But you can't expect a person to be given a picture of the alphebet and instantly know how to read and write!
YOU have to TEACH them.
If you don't, you get 30+ AMVs from ONE person that ultamitely SUCK.
NO ONE should have ot go through what I did... You people need to TEACH....
And I'm going to try to teach as well, ANYONE who wants help can come to me.

I made the "Where one month of work is given 3 minutes of attention" banner.
Wasn't one of my favorites. In fact, both of my favorite ones were rejected. =[
My personal favorites were "Insanity = Art" and "What's an 'Aye-Uhm-Vee'?" Oh well. At least ONE of my banners got in =]

Jealousy is almost done. All I have to do is do some fine-tuning, and then add the 2nd layer to the ending of the AMV. If all goes well I'll have it done... MAYBE wednesday, and send it into Yoaicon.
CnC is getting a little harder to edit now, since AVIO is being an ass by making me wait longer to insert stuff. In fact, I wouldn't even BE inserting stuff if it didn't have that stupid function where you have to have video on the timeline before you put in sound... Gah. Damn AVIO!
If you have no idea what I'm talking about... Think WMM with a LOT of bugs. =s
I HAD THE WIERDEST DREAM!
Okay, not as wierd as the me meeting Zidane dream, or the sex dream with Anime Jedi, but still WIERD!
In fact, It involved Devolution. I have no idea WHY there's this new phase of "time to dream about male eidtors that you've never met in person before". 0.o
I can't wait until the Wuwu one comes up. =P
Anyway, back to the dream....
(HEAVILY summarized version!)
[Before this dream occured, Devo and I were talking about bikes. He doesn't have a car right now, so he can't get into town without hitchiking or walking. I said buy a bike, he said there was one at his mom's house or something. The dream goes from there...]
I'm doing something on the computer, and the phone rings. I pick it up. It's Devolution. He's at his mom's house, and his mom is obviously ticked about something. He says he called me so I could guide him through negotiating to get his bike, since his mom won't give it to him(don't ask about the negototian thing-- long story).
So, I tell him to say exactly what I say.
"Mom, do you have my bike?"
-(snidely) "maybe"
"May I have it?"
- "Why?"
"I have no way to get to town right now."
- "So?"
"Is there something I can do for you so you will let me have the bike?"
-(snidely) "Maybe"
"What is it?"
- "Who are you talking to[on the phone]?"
Then the phone drops. By this time, I'm thinking Devo's mom is a complete bitch. I hear a lot os yelling and stuff. Sorry Devo, but for your mom I picture someone really unkept, with wild frizzy hair, and a really old house.
So anyway, I'm all worried. Because Devo's mom has basically gone ballistic(or so I fear). Then the phone gets picked up, and I am like "hello? Hello?" And it's Devo's Mom!
Devo's mom: "Who are you?"
-"I'm Chris's friend..."
"You're not a filthy American are you?"
- "Well, I live in America.."
"Why do you have to be calling my son and filling his head with filthy US nonsense! You're wasting my money because I'm paying for this phone bill you nasty American!" (etc, etc.)
- "Wait! Don't hang up the phone!"
Devo's mom seems to calm down, now, and I go through the whole negototian process with her, to try and get her to give Devo his bike. By this time, I've been called a "filthy america" enough, and it's annoyed me, so I can't exactly keep my cool as much as I had liked to, so I end up giving her some sarcasm.
Me: "Devo needs the bike, he..."
- "He doesn't need a damned thing from me! He shouldn't even be here! he moved out and..."(etc., etc.)
"Well, it's just that Chris spent a good portion of his day coming over to your house in hopes that you had the bike so he would have a way to get to town and back..."
-(basically the same reply as before with different wording).
"Listen Ms... Chris's mom! Devo spent a LONG time hitchiking to YOUR house so he could get the transportation he NEEDS. If you don't care for your son that much to--"
(phone drops again)
Okay, so now I hear a LOT of bitching and screaming from Devo's mom, and some wierd replies from Devolution, too. I am so worried, I'm like "omg, his mom is crazy" you know? Well, shortly, someone picks up the phone after the noise seems to have settled down a bit.
The voice seems to be kinda scared. It's Devo's little brother.
Me: "What's happening? What's going on?"
- "Mom chased Chris upstairs and now she's beating him..."
"What? Who is this?"
- "Devo's little brother.." (He said a name, but I forgot what it was. I THINK it was Nick, but my memory is bad when dreams get hazy).
"Why are you standing there talking to me?! Go help Chris!!"
- "You're right... I should go help DV..."(I THINK those were the initials he used, it might have been three letters instead of just "DV", I'm not sure.)
(Phone clicks, end of dream)
As you can see... Wierd ass dream. 0.o
I wonder if I was just wondering a bit TOO much about Devo's bike, or if it means something... =s
