  • Mmmmmm..... AWA.... 2003-09-27 08:45:08 Yep. Went yesterday, did stuff.
    Mostly just the AMV room. We ate Arby's at Cumberland Mall, and then we went to Devo's room and hung out until 9pm, when I picked up my comission from Tim Flanagan and went to see the D DDR project and the NES Project.
    Man, did the DDDR project have a lot of kinks! I mentioned to Devo "Quu must be having a fit back there!"
    ^_^;; Regardless, all of those vids were really, good, even though I had like... Never heard of most of the editors... Which makes me feel bad. =s

    Anyway, the NES Project... Mmmm.... It was good. I saw Tutter and MJ! I wanted to go up and talk to them but I thought the middle of MJ's speech was a bad time.... And then the NES Project started. And I was really into it... And then I had to go home at 11 ish pm...(I was SUPPOSED to go at 10, but used my mad negotian skillz to stay to watch... MOST... of the NES project..) Man, I am so disappointed. I really wanted to talk ot Tutter! ~_~

    Ah, and earlier, at like 5ish pm, I went and requested my vid(TTS) for Expo... Long line for that... Anyway, I met The Wired Knight! He's cool. =p We talked about yaoicon and stuff. By the way, Sean, very nice video....

    Nobody clapped for TTS ~_~
    Okay, I take that back. ALMOST nobody. It was more like "Okay, linkin park song.." 20 people leave... Then it ended "stunned silence" and then they started clapping about 1 second before Sean's video so there was no time to finish... Or whatever.... I wonder if that's good or bad. -shrug-.

    There's an expo overflow today... Maybe I can get somebody else to Request "Zidane's Home"... I know Tutter wants to see that on the big screen....

    And I do, too.... But, Quu said only one video per creator was guarenteed, so I don't want to look all selfish asking for another one of my vids to be shown... ~_~"

    Oh! Funniness.... You see, When I went up there to ask for TTS, One of Quu's many slaves was like "Studio?" And I said SQ, and Quu was like "Ohhh yes..."(I wonder if that's good or bad... >>) and then he said "What's that stand for, anyway?"
    And I said "Saiyan Quatre" and he he looked at me funny and then I said.. "The initials stuck..." ~_~
    I'd really like to spend some time to speak with Quu more and talk, because him volunteering all his time to the VAT is quite astonishing and I really admire him for doing it... But I don't know when I could catch him at a reasonable time....

    I can't wait to see Phade at the org panel today!
    I think it's 11am, when it is... That's perfect because... I'm seing the Yu-Gi-Oh! Live action movie today! (LOL! Laughage!)
    Which reminds me... I should probably leave about now...

    NOTHING is going to happen between us. And fi it was going to(Which it's not), it definetly WOULDN'T be in the VAT room....

    And I got that email. You shouldn't have sent that. Devo told me next to nothing. Actually, he told me that you couldn't visit your mom on saturday because her car was broken. That was it. You went out of your way to apologise for something that I never knew existed... =s 
  • Mmmm.... AMV Dinner. 2003-09-26 11:57:32 The AMV dinner was good. Devo came to my fourth block, we did stuff witht he AVIO, and now Devo says that he should bow down to my editing skillz now, lol. He saw CnC. I said it sucks, he says it's really good. -shrug-

    After that, we went to my house, changed so we could do the freaky twin thing for dinner, and watched the thumb movies and talked and stuff. I taught him how to play DDR... ^^;;

    Then we went to the dinner, and my parents folloed us around while I got my pre-reg, and Devo got his reg... Lmao. We met ermac. Devo said "Hey, ermac, I'm devolution" or somesuch, and ermac goes "Who?" and devo replies "I'm the guy who you looked at like an alien last year." And ermac went "Oh... I do that to everyone." ^^;;
    Funny...
    Devo introduced me ot ermac, and of course he has no idea who I am(And frankly I couldn't care less since I don't like him... Much.) Anyway, I said "You look like Tim Flanagan!" who is a pencillist that I meet every year at various cons to do my stuff... we're friends... And of course ermac has no idea hwo Tim is, so he kinda just looks at me wierd. Yeah. Not the best way to introduce oneself! ^^;;

    Ermac and some others were in the pre reg line behind me, and the funny hting is... The pre-reg line had like 30 people in it, where as the walk-in reg line only had 2... I was very unnerved about that. Why muct the pre-regs wait longer? 0o

    My dad said someting like "Yeah, we already paid so we don't care about you." We being the AWA staff. Kinda funny, if you think about it. =p

    So we go down to the meeting spot later, I of course met th reast of the fearsome foursome(aside from feit) and thought that like... EVERYONE looked like spPanda... I so want to meet SpPanda...

    Anyway, I even thought See Info was panda! ><;;
    So at the meeting place thingy, I asked who was who to devo and they were all pointing me to people and stuff and I went around introducing myself. Of course practically no one knows me! ~_~;;

    Anyway, it was fun. I met Hakura, Red Wolf, Furry Curry, Machine... To name a few.
    Machine is cool. ^^ He looks like spPanda, too, though. =s

    Then I someone told me where Mike and Meri were.. I think it was Xeno who pointed Meri out to me... And I was like "That woman who looks 14??" I couldn't believe it.. I mean she's so.... Short. ~_~
    Anyway, I go over, introduce myself, and Meri was like "Hey..! I've been waiting to meet you!" Or somehting like that. And then she introduced me to Mike. I was kind of in a daze so Mike didn't get too much attention... Sorry Mike!(I'll try again tomorrow....>>)

    Anyhow, I say to meri "I believe you owe me a tic-tac-toe game." And Meri was like oh yeah... So I get a pen and paper from Devo and we play Tic-tac-toe(It's a long story about how she owed me this...).

    Before I tell you who won, in the car on the way to the Galleria, I was telling Devo about the Meri Vs. Me thing and he was like "She will so beat you." And I was like "No she won't!"(I'm determined!! ^o^)

    Yesh. Anyway. I'm X, she's O. I win in two moves. I was disappointed to say the least, but hey... The look on Devo's face when he realized Meri lost.. In two moves no less.... was priceless... ^^
    Meri wrote on the paper "Meri is teh suck! omg wtf!!!"
    I believe that's an autograph people.... Oh ho ho ho... Meri will forever bow before my mad tic-tac-toe skillz!!!

    Then we went to the dinner, met Christy(LadyDX) and her husband, AD, more people... Oh my gosh.... The oevrflow of so many people.... -falls over-

    For some odd reason the main attraction for the day was trying to introduce me to Aluminium Studios. I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE.

    Everyone was gasping and all like "You DON'T know Aluminium Studios?!!!"
    They took me to the table with Ermac and co. and this guy was all like "She doesn't know about you guys!!" >>......

    Then they sang happy birthday for Doki Doki in Italian. That was so funny. Everybody got up and was watching. ^^;;

    A lot of people took pictures of us, though. I was appauled. I mean, MAYBE Xeno and Devo, but me and See info? We are like... Not known...

    Anyway, somebody videotaped me pounding the lights out of Xeno with the AWA schedule ^^;;;

    Ah, I also met Danny Wilson. Sorry man, but you need to do somehting with that wacky hair! :!O

    And I went to AD to get my DVDs(5 that I had pre-ordered). He had a bit too much wine. =p
    First he game me one DVD, and I was like "It's 5.." and he was "No, no, 3.."(3 dollars for how much it cost...)

    And I said "No no no, I ordered 5 DVDs.." and he was like "Oh1 Yes, I remmeber that."
    And then he gave me six DVDs. =p
    I could tell I got more then I paid for so I counted and gave him one back. AD replied. "Oh! I'm sorry, I can't count.. Too much wine today.." >=P

    Then the dinner ended and stuffs, and Devo was gonna get a ride from Carraba's(sp.) to the hotel via my parents(no, they didn't go ot the dinne,r btw). And the others took a ride with Christy and her husband.

    My dad was coming back from the house so it took awhile, and Devo and I talked. It was cool to just be alone and talk for once. I haven't done that in awhile.

    Btw, I apologize for how anti-social I was near the end of the dinner. I swear to god I am sick... And for some reason that food just did NOT taste right.... By the end there, I was almost positive I was going to hurl. But don't worry! I'm going to take some meds and come to AWA today in a type of druggy-haze.

    .... Yes, feel free to take advantage of me like that, because if you don't do it then, you'll be whacked with.... Something. Or poked. Yeah....

    I got home at 11.30pm, and then I woke up today at like 6am... And kinda just laid in bed until 7.30. I can NOT function like htis... I need more sleep!!! >=O
    ... So I kinda conked out during 1st period... =s

    Which wasn't such a good idea considering that was the last day of review for the test that we're taking on Monday that I am sure I'm going to fail, now. =s

    2nd period went by kinda fast, I was in and out of a daze-like state. =s
    She gave us homework, but I finished it this period, so it's no biggie...Now is lunch and then Video Prod. Argh... If there's one thing I hate about Video Prod(aside the fact that I have nothing to do in it today...) It's handling those stupid camerabags. They're so big and bulky! ~_~
    Like the bus isn't crowded enough. And then going through the whole school day to give them back is horrid. =s

    .... Kitty(AKA ms. Big boobs... For Devo) is bringing Anna to AWA. Kitty's going to talk to me during lunch today to try and get us to meet up because she wants to meet(and hit on, no doubt) this "twin" of mine...(AKA Devo). She has a thing for 20 year olds. ~_~

    Xeno... feel free to grope! Dew it! She deserves it! TITTY TWISTER!!!!!

    Anyhow, I don't want to see her OR Anna at AWA. AWA is like... For me to get AWAY from that. And Kitty is just... Hella annoying. Andthen both of them together... Gah... FANGIRLS......

    Devolution's coming to my forth period!(Video Prod 3) then he's coming to my house! Then we're going to the AMV Dinner!!!

    ..... Think I'm getting sick....
    ..... Am wondering how many times that stupid guy is going to enter that yuhi banner.
    ..... Am doing a documentary on cosplayers at AWA for Video Prod. =s
    ...... Hate how my parents fit Devo into a stereotype.("Don't be alone with him! He's 20, all he thinks about is sex! He will rape you!" shit..)

    ..... Am going to stop writing in this journal for now....
