so im going 2 b typing like this 4 a while cuz its ez-er w/ the 1 hand n all.
neway, the appt. got moved 2 2day, n i went, n i got another sling instead of a cast. they gave me stringer pain killers n i am not allowed 2 move my left arm 4 a hole month! yet, im supposed 2 stretch my arm strait 2x a day. i cant even hold my own arm up, how am i supposed 2 straiten it out? thank god 4 the painkillers, then.
still trying 2 figure out how 2 work school, tho...
and sleep is hard with pain, lemme tell U! >> -

Sorry for the abundance of typos. You'll find out why later.
You won't BELIEVE what happened to me yesterday.
Everything was going fine. I went to school and everything was normal.
I got home, ate, then went to the stable for my horseback riding lessons.
Tacked up Twister(horse) and was on my way.
He was responding a lot better than he usually does, but then since i figured i was jumping today, i thought my stirrups were too long, so i shortened them, but then they were too short, and i was just too lazy to get off and make them longer again.
So i began to jump, and twister started acting wierd. he'd swerve out of the way of the crossrail for no reason. he's never done that before, and my teach just said he was being stubborn. so i just accepted that and kept trying. he swerved about 2 more times, but i finally got him to listen to me, and we moved on to vertical jumps.
twister swerved once, but then i got him to jump a really nice one, at this point, my teach had taken away the whip i was using to make twister canter-- i have no idea why, because that was like my lifeforce for making twister canter. my legs are just ship for pushing.
anyway, the next vertical, i guess i didn't get twister fast enough, so he stopped right before the jump, and i was already in 2-point at the time, ready for him to jump insanely high. so my momentum obviously made me fall over twister's neck.
aside from a few sceratches, i was fine, so i dusted myself off and got back on. the teach decided to do crossrails instead of verticals, and i did those fine(still no whip), so he moved it back to a vertical and i didn't realize it until really late, so i was trying to kick and squeeze the hell out of twister so he'd go faster, but apparently it wasn't good enough and i fell off him again.
but this time i broke my arm.
joy.
lucky it was my left arm, though, because i'm right handed.
later i found out that someone who hasn't fallen off a horse in 15 years fell off yesterday, too, after i'd left for critical care. i had watched her ride and she was doing a hell of a lot better than i was... i have no idea how she could've fallen off.
but oh well, ewveryone knows that shit happens in threes.
and typing with one hand really sucks.
and that shift key is damned annoying.... -
