KONNICHI-WA, MENA-SAN !!!!
Manitou desu.
HEY ! Long time no see, eh ?
It's been a year now.. Wow... darn long time...
But hey, I'm back and working again on new AMVs...
Yeah, I now, where's the Mononoke Hime AMV. I will upload it as soon as it is finished ^^#.
Our - NikE [AMVision] and Manitou [AMVision] - site "Anime Tribute" got its own URL: www.animetribute.net; a new design, and and and...
I got a new project: the movie is NO anime, but it's a movie of a very good friend of mine: Legend of Osaya. Well, let's see if it works with the music I chose.
Enought for today, I got work to do !

A Rainy day - volume 3
2002-11-30 12:43:26
Konnichi-wa, mena-san !
Manitou desu.
Things didn't change. It's still raining. The only good thing is, that my friend got his birthday party (I told you earlier; he's now 20 yrs. old) today.
I'm still working on the new AMV. I just have to watch 20-40 minutes more of "Mononoke Hime" and find some good scenes. And then I can start editing. ^^ I hope this is tomorrow or in two days. We'll see.
I still got no name. Any suggestions are welcome.
The webmaster of our site (www.animetribute.tk - Beware ! It's written in German !!) is back home for the weekend (he's in the army right now and this for the next 7 monthes). So, maybe there will be some updates. But, I couldn't reach him over my cell by now.
The sword technique training was really good today. I started to practise with two swords one week ago and it turned out to be really, really effective. Besides fighting with a large axe (length ~ 1,00 - 1,30 meters) fighting with two swords is my new favourite.
*har har har*
Due to the heavy rain here I still couldn't start forging my axe. I got an iron ingot, which is approximately 10 lbs and so there will be a problem holding this thing with the pliers. But, I'll manage this... somehow.
So, enough talk for today. Have a nice evening, day, night or whatever.

A Rainy day - volume 2
2002-11-29 11:11:11
Konnichi-wa, mena-san !
Manitou desu.
Well, It started 2 days ago and it's still raining. I hope that it'll be sunny or at least cloudy so I can forge the axe. Geez, this will be a though piece of work.
I can't find the time to work on my AMV. Maybe next week.
I can't find web space for my AMV "Draconian Love" either.
So, today is pretty pissed.
No time for AMV, no webspace, not the right weather to go outside and use the blacksmithy, et cetera.
Everything is just as it shouldn't be.
Maybe tomorrow, things will change.

Just the regular Blah-blah
2002-11-28 17:41:42
Konnichi-wa, mena-san !
Manitou desu.
My dear readers. Thanksy in advance for reading the crap I always write down, but these are my (almost) innermost feelings and due to the fact that I have no normal diary (would be to much work *G*) I write down here how I feel and what's on my mind the moment I start writing.
Well, I really got nothing important to say/write today.
Happy thanks giving to those who celebrate it (I won't because I'm 1) an Atheist and 2) European, so, no pilgrim fathers or anybody else here *G*). Well, actually I do celebrate the Teutonic/Alamannic celebrations (like Jul, Samhain, Haustblod, Ostara, Fröblot, Perchtefest, Sigrblot ...). I don't really like the Roman Catholic faith. If you consider what they have done to the Natives of South America... "The Holy Inquisition"... Yeah, "holy".
Quote Clawfinger: "I don't believe in a god that I need to worship, I don't believe when I have to get down on my knees."
This believe should be by our own free will. I grew up in a Catholic family and never really wanted to be part of the whole thing.
Freedom of the individual.
So, I can't really unterstand a big part of the Americans. Escpecially, the creationism wing. Why do the want to ban Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution from schools. That's ridiculous.
The land of unlimited possibilities, isn't it ? There's a really sarcastic pun about this: "The land of unlimited impossibilities". Well, can't say that I haven't laughed at this one, when I saw people sueing Phillip Morris and earing hundreds of million Dollars or the "Evolutionism vs Creationism"-war (can I say war or is it just a small fight ?).
I think I disgress to much from the topic. But it's always hard to describe what you're thinking the best way if you lack the vocabulary. *sighs*
I just recall the song from "Much Ado About Nothing" (a funny play from William Shakespear):
"Sigh no more, ladies sigh no more. Men were deceivers ever. One foot in sea and one on shore, to one thing constant never. And sigh not so, but let them go, and be blithe and bonny, Converting all your sounds of woe into Hey nonny, nonny"
At least I remember the first stanza... ^^
My blacksmithing skills also seem to be increasing. On Saturday I'll try to forge a plain (battle-)axe. Maybe I can use it for the reenactements. Maybe... ^^#
What I still need is a really, really big sledge hammer (the hammer head should have about 10-20 lbs.).
I don't really know but do you, my dear Americans, have to go to the army or do you volunteer for it ?
In Austria you have to either go to the army for 8 monthes or do some civil services for 12 monthes. Civil service means that you have to work in a hospital or work with handicaped (is this still politcally correct ?) at an organization called "Lebenshilfe" or do some work in an office at a church, helping the minister There are many more things you can/have to do when you decide to do civil service. I have chosen the civil service the instant I heard I have to do one of the two. And ironically, I'll have to work at a church.
But, although it's 4 months longer, it's way better than laying in the mud and freezing to death in winter. Maybe I don't want to go there because I'm a little bit too lazy for all of this. Well, it's not the only cause. The main cause is that I think an army in Austria is pretty stupid. I don't know who could be attacking Austria. It's just... it's just that I can't see any sense behind this war machinery.
Well, so much to the first statement, I got nothing important to write today...
Shouldn't I write about working on a new AMV ? Nope, not today, I can give you some info, but it's not new, you can read it in my last entry.
I just noticed that my journal entries are really messy. I write about this and that. Then, I go over another topic, which has nothing to do with anything I said before, ... . I mean, those entries, they have no structure. It's just writing what you're thinking - free writing. Well, some thoughts shouldn't be written, I'm aware of that. I would never write things like which person I really would like to screw or other, similar things. Could be rather tasteless and nobody would ever read my journal again. Or it could have exactly the opposite effect. Just because I would write those things, people would want to read this journal. *shakes his head* I can't really believe I write this (crap) ^^#
Gomen nasai.
I think I go now, it's past midnight and I'm tired.
Oyasumi nasai, mena-san.

*this sucks, right?*

A rainy day... Long time, no see, eh ?

Oyaho gozaimasu, mena-san !
Manitou desu.
*yawns* ^o^.. I just stood up...
Well, the title brings it right to the point. It's raining outside and I wanted to blacksmith today.. *sighs* I can't change it...
So, what's going on here in Austria ?
Due to the rain outside I think I'm going to start a new AMV. I got the song and the anime, but I think none of the people living outside Austria/Germany/Switzerland/Liechtenstein/... will know the song, so it'll be rather difficult for you to rate the AMV... Maybe you like the song despite the fact that it's in German and you can't understand it (maybe there are German speakers at AMV.org, except for the people living in German speaking countries, who are registered at AMV.org)
Few facts about the AMV:
Song: Subway to Sally - Minne
Anime: Mononoke Hime
First try: Lip Syncing
Well, I got 2 other ideas for AMVs. Again with German songs (from "Schandmaul"), which will be rather funny, I think... ^^#
Hm... what's more, what's more...
Oh yeah, my friend got his 20th birthday yesterday... As good as I know him, there will be a biiiiiiiiiiiiig carouse/feast on Saturday. That'll be too hard. Vodka, Whisky, Barcardi, ... . Beer and wine will be just a little addition to what there will be to drink.
In addition, yesterday was a small wine tasting with really, really exclusive and excellent wines. 3 wines, all from the same winegrower.
- The first one: "Heinrich" St. Laurent, year 2001. This wine got 92 or 94 points from "Falstaff". And he really deserves it. Those 92 or 94 points make it a wine of world class.
- The second one: "Heinrich" Blaufränkischer, year 1999. The Blaufränkischer is in no way inferior to the St. Laurent.
- The third one: "Heinrich" Zweigelt, year 2000. Again, a very good wine, but it wasn't quite my taste.
So, that's it for now.
I gotta work on a new AMV.
