  • tis the end of the internet as we know it and i don't feel fine 2012-01-24 16:48:40

    In light of the the megaupload take down, it seems other file sharing sites similar to it are going down too. This is really starting to piss me off. The only exception so far seems to be Mediafire. Damn at this rate I'm just going to have to put my videos back on the org but I get more downloads with my alternative links than the ones hosted here. Plus I can have more variety of formats than just one plain codec and not having people to search for decoders to encode them into different formats.

    I'll wait till the end of the week to decide on what to do and see what other sites go down before I start reuploading any thing. If I have to, I'll make some nice quality mp4s to put up on the org as my last result.

    Okay guys, we all know by now that megaupload is down. As Bauzi said it is possible it could come back, but the more people who send letters to our lawmakers to stop SOPA and PIPA the more it'll help stop it.

    The more and more people who sign the letter the more it'll help. I'm just as mad as the next guy about this. I had amvs on there too now I got to upload every thing again.

    Well Megaupload is finally taken down by the Feds. I'll sure miss them. Had several of my AMVS hosted on there. Guess I'll have to look else where to host them.

    Or just host them here again but that would defeat the purpose of hosting my Mpeg 2 versions and other versions of the vids. I'll figure out something. But damn that really sucks.

    I guess this is a taste of what is to come. Glad the Feds got hacked for taking it down though!

    I don't know that many cons over UK side but the ones I've gone too over on the states, you can find Soul Taker at Otakon for fairly cheap. Other cons I've been too have sold it for way too much. Your best bet is probably importing it.

    I've seen Soul Taker. Its a really weird anime but still good. Its kind of hard to find but if you look in the right places you can get it for extremely cheap. If Rightstuf still has it you can get it for about $12-16. Surprised this anime hasn't been relicensed yet. Out.
