- progress 2006-11-07 01:43:31 well ive gotten farther on my sequel to Path of the Samurai. this video is probably going to be my longest vid since im using three songs for it so its not as short as Path was. the first two parts of the vid go by really quick while the third part of the vid is more intense and dramatic. the ending is not as abrupt as the first one is and deffiently not too short. im sure ill get complaints on this one for being too long even though last time i got complaints on it for being too short. the ending for the second part leads up to the final part of the trilogy which fits nicely. i dont think i could have done it any better if i just used one song. the next step is to sync more scenes up and add effects in. the second part wont rely too much on effects like the first vid. the second is mostly drama and suspense. im glad i got two days off from school so i can work some more on this vid. it seems the person who was giving tones of quick comments for me has stopped. damn it and he hasnt even made it to my last few dbz vids or kenshin vids since that was most of the quick comments i was getting from. hopefully he'll pick up tomorrow eh? thank you mysterious qc commentor. i guess ill just have to wait and see. well thats it for now. out.

- trailer idea 2006-11-05 17:08:08 well i got another idea for another trailer vid. this time im going to use Lupin the 3rd. too bad i cant start on the video right away since i dont have all of the Lupin movies that i want to use. the first box set doesnt come out within a couple weeks either. arggh! too bad i dont have enough money to waste on single dvds either. i guess ill have to wait for december until the rest of them come out so i can start on it. the idea is awesome too. i need to stop watching movies or at least the trailers that are on them.
- gah! 2006-11-03 00:49:46 ok my sequel to Path of the Samurai is pissing me off. ive used two songs so far for it and im still havent gotten all the episodes in. errrgh eps 14 and 16 have some really important scenes that make it hard to cut out stuff and it has some of the best action sequences too. ill either a) cut a huge chunk out of the eps so i can only use one song b) go with what i have and use a third song. c) insert some other option here that i havent thought of yet. grrr its getting really annoying. then again i could use three songs and make this one big epic amv. but im not really too big on extremely long amvs. and not to mention having to compress the hell out of it when im done. if i keep the really long version idea it has lots of Kyuzo footage so that should keep Ari enteretained. thats if i decide to go with the really long version idea. why does there have to be so much good footage in these eps! out.
- started 2006-11-01 19:17:14 well i decided to start on the sequel to Path of the Samurai. i captured some footage and tried doing some editing with it. i havent decided yet but i may use two songs for this amv since there's so much action thatll make it hard to cut certain scenes. when i started editing this i didnt realize how short the samurai's first attack on the bandits was so short and the following episode is a really important episode so i had to use a lot of stuff from it in order for it to make sense. so i may have to use two songs for this part. the second part will probably be longer then the first one. well thats it for now. out.
