- weird 2007-02-15 01:11:56 well some thing just weird happend with my comp. at first i thought some one was trying to hack in to my comp but it just turned out to be disk defrager running on its own some how which is odd. also this night and last night some one keeps calling my house late at night when people are supposed to be sleeping. ugh i hate those weird late night calls. well thats it for now. out.
- jury duty 2007-02-14 19:48:56 well it looks like i have been summoned for jury duty. yay? hopefully ill be able to get out it so i wont have to go. i wasnt expecting to get jury duty this early. i was expecting it more when i was 25 or 30. some people dont even selected. i was hoping i was one of those people. out.
- progress 2007-02-14 12:39:51 well i worked on some of the second video of the S7 trilogy. i got 2 mins done and im hoping to have this vid done by saturday at the most. it shouldnt take me to long to do since its not very effects oriented. the only problem is that i have to capture the footage over again. a few here and there but not too much. my power went out today for 3 hours and it finally came back on not that long ago. it was freezing ass cold when i got up. well thats it for now. out.
- worked 2007-02-12 21:49:20 well the third part of the S7 trilogy has finally been encoded right. or at least the best its going to be encoded at. theres little pixelation here and there but its not too bad. i even figured out how to deinterlace using EO video. the file size is now about 80 mbs now which is a relative good size especially for a 5 min plus vid. im sure quality whores are going to bash it though but what ever at least the interlacing is fixed properly. now i can remove the footage from my comp horray. i think im going to use EO video from now to encode my vids since i can get them into decent quality and such. well thats it for now. out.
- closer to perfection 2007-02-12 19:29:30 well im finally getting the third part of the Samurai 7 trilogy encoded correctly. the closes i got was around 53 mbs using EO video to encode it. i tried encoding that vid 9 different times and it turned out crappy with every thing else from vegas, TMPEG and even Vdub. the video quality could be a bit smoother and clearer but its getting close. i tried using the ffdshow encoder and it worked a lot better then the regular xvid quality. i just hope it doesnt show any interlacing if it does theres always vlc media player to fix it. im trying to get the quality just as good as my Shell Syndrome vid which i thought was pretty excellent quality. i really want to get this Samurai 7 footage off my comp too. its been there for a few months now. every time i think i get it encoded correctly i have to do it again. its getting very tiresome. at least the encoding process with EO video goes fast enough. it just needs a few more tweaks in quality though. well thats it for now. out.
