Well I can't stand Vegas 9. Trying to edit in that thing is so buggy. It's so picky about various clips and stuff. So far I have to say Vegas 9 is the worst version. Vegas 6-8 were the best that I've used.
Hell you can't even encode in xvid in it. At least not that I could figure out of. Tried to work on a new vid in it; saved the program and went back into it to resume it later and it wouldn't open up my project. Seriously what the hell?
If there is a Vegas 10 coming out soon I hope a lot of these bugs have been fixed cause its really annoying. Right now I'm sticking with the current version that I have. Vegas has been disappointing me lately. They make you pay an arm and a leg for something that's almost the same as the previous version. Same effects same everything nothing really new.
The only other thing that they've really changed over the years is being able to encode in more formats. Really that's it. Stupid Vegas. I hope they improve by version 10.

Okay, for those of you who downloaded my previously updated version of my Fullmetal Alchemist vid I added a final enhanced version which improved some of the scenes and fixed some minor things that made it look choppy in certain places. If you want the real experience of the vid download that version instead. As far as I know this is going to be the last version up.

Well I finally got my new vid done which is on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I had to improvise for some scenes towards the end but I think it came out good overall. The beginning and the end were a real bitch to work on to get anything I liked.
Stuck mostly to dvd footage. When I had to use fansubs the footage was difficult to work with not to mention cleaning them up to make it look just as sharp as the dvds and cut the subs and logos. That was a major pain in the ass. Hurry up Funi release the rest of Brotherhood already.
I don't want to resort to having to buy some R2 dvds of it. Next time I work on a Brotherhood vid I'm definitely not using fansubs. If I do I'll use the same method as before even though it'll be a major pain to clean it up. Lucky for me there's after effects.
Don't know when it'll be up. Hopefully tomorrow. -

Sometimes the greatest ideas for amvs comes from horribly edited videos of those
songs. Saw one today and it was just straight cut scenes of action and nothing edited at
all. Figured I'd try my hand at that song after I get my current vid I'm working on. Been wanting to do a Claymore vid for a while so I'll try it with that since the song fits that anime.
Was hoping my next vid would be Shikabane Hime but that'll have to wait. I'm still watching it. :-! -

I keep hearing about some crap anime called High School of the Dead. It sounds so familar to me dunno why. I hear its going to be the next Haruhi if so then fail. Haruhi sucked. Dunno why I even bothered to watch that. There were only two good episodes out of the whole thing and the only character I liked was Kyon or whatever the hell his name was. Mainly because he was played by Crispin Freeman in the dub. Any character he plays I usually find enjoyable even that bastard who has no feelings or emotion in Last Exile.
Hell if this is show is as bad as Haruhi I'd rather watch Code Geass all over again. At least that was enjoyable. If everyone flocks to this anime like they did for Haruhi then count me out.
