- expirements 2005-06-05 19:46:11 well so far im almost back on my feet and have almost everything set up on my computer. i found an old copy of After Effects 5. i was surprised i still had a good copy left. so im trying to teach myself after effects. i figured out how to get rid of backgrounds and remove characters from their original surroundings. im still trying to figure out how to get some of the other effects to show up. amazingly i figured out to remove things but i cant get simple effects to work. then again im doing all of this without a manual. ill need the later versions of After Effects for more complecating character removals. as you can gather im trying to work on my first crossover video. this one is going to be very different and not what you would expect in a crossover. and no its not my DBZ/YYH crossover. that will come later once i get more expirenced. plus i dont have all the footage i need for it but ill probably make another teaser trailer for it similar to my Hiei vs Vegeta teaser. as for my next actual video? who knows. though i am currently working on a DBZ video using DBZ movie 1 and possibly scenes from the Raditz arc. the bitch of it is is that i dont have Vegas video any more and for some reason its not letting me enter my serial number. so im stuck using Video Factory a smaller version of Vegas video. hey it beats using windows movie maker. well thats about it for now. out.
- Star Wars Eps III and DBZ movie 1 redub thoughts 2005-06-03 16:59:27 well i finally got to see SW Eps 3 and i have to say that was the best one out of the new triolgy. the first movie sucked and the second one was decent but the third rocked. they actually played some good music and lots of fight scequences. so if you havent seen it your missing out. its worth seeing twice in the theaters and i may just go see it again. i also bought the redub of DBZ movie 1 and i have to say i was disappointed with it. i was hoping the original score would be used but of course they ditched it. the new music had its moments but nothing replaces Cha la Head Chala and the drunken gohan song. so if you watch the redub skip that section it just isnt right with out it. the voices are much much better than the Pioneer dub err Geneon. some lines were changed and some turned out better than the original while others didnt. they cut out the cursing unike the original dub. I myself prefer the original dub but the quality of the rerelease is better. so if you do get it at least do it for the quality. ultimate uncut my ass. well thats all i got to say. out.

the firewall wars

a long time ago on a computer system far far away...
ok enough of that crap. well my firewall decided to go against me and in the end i finally won. it all started one day when i was getting ready to go on the internet. my firewall decided not to let me access the internet no matter what i did. i followed every damn instruction that i got and that didnt even help. first i followed the instructions that my internet told me to do to make it compatible. that didnt work. i blocked and unblocked the full access to the internet. i gave different settings to the firewall and that still didnt let me access the internet. then i decided to uninstall and reinstall the programs. nope didnt help either. i tried a system restore and that made things even more worse. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. then finally the programs wouldnt let me uninstall them! i was like wtf?? thats when i made the decision. i was going to wipe them out. all of them. every last damn file on my computer and if that wasnt going to work i dont know what else will. so i reinstalled windows xp and the other programs and now every thing is running smoothly. this battle took about two days. now i need to go and reinstall my other programs like photoshop, vegas video etc so i can continue working on amvs. speaking of which i havent made on in a while. im lazy. even when i do start on one i dont complete it. well thats it for now. out. - the trip 2005-05-29 19:53:32 well its been almost a week since ive returned from my trip and havent posted any thing about it. eh i got lazy. ok the first day i spent most of the day traveling didnt get there until some time in the evening. the weather was very cool at first but that all drasticaly changed in the morning. on Friday it was very hot and humid. i went to Paradise Island with my cousins and spent some time of the day there and the other half walking around in the city. we did a lot of walking that day. Saturday went to the wedding and hanged out at the beach for the rest of the day. did some sailing and kiyacking(SP?). on sunday i was at the beach again which was right behind my cousin's hotel. ate and drank to my heart's content. if you spend $100 for a day pass at a hotel youll do the same. not only that but you got all the food and drink you could devour. i did some more sailing and kiyacking as well as snorkeling. so i got to swim with the fish.horray when i first jumped in the water a bunch of salt water got into my mouth and i felt like i was going to throw up. uh salt water is some nasty shit. got to see where Eddie Murphy's private island was as well. i sailed on the way back to shore and some how i managed not to get us of course. i wondered how that happend. my cousin and i did some kiyacking and headed off to an island that was nearby. apparently its called the forbidden island. apparently people arnt allowed to kiyack over there because people would live them and take the ferry boat back. the water was so warm on that side compared to the beach we were on. after that we headed back to the beach. i sware that hotel reminds of the song Hotel California. from the way one of my cousins put it he had a hard time trying to leave. my cousins and i headed back out of the hotel and the only way we knew how was to do was act like we were my cousin's friends who were staying at the hotel. so basically we did mission impossible to get out. i kinda joked with my cousin that the SWAT team would probably on us the next day. if you ever go to the bahamas you got to try conch. that stuff is so good. there are two different kinds one is cracked conch and the other is much like a donut hole. either way there both good. i also played minature golf down there as well and let me tell that was one of the worst minature golfs ive ever played at. it really needs to be fixed up it was that bad. not only that but some of the numbers were missing. holes 9-14 were missing out of a total of 20 holes. even some of the courses were bent and uneven making it almost impossible to get a hole in one. though i managed to get a few holes in one. comic book guy voice :::worst golf course ever:: and on monday i came back. the end. well thats about it. out.
- i have returned 2005-05-23 22:57:44 well i am back from my trip to the bahamas. was a long day coming back. from one plane to the other. and surprisingly no emails. id figured id at least get one email while i was away. well im out for now. ill give a full detail entry about the trip tomorrow right now i am tired. out.
