- indirect links coming soon 2005-07-07 02:05:29 well i just got some free web space and ill have some indirect links coming. about 10 GBs worth. the good thing about this is that ill be able to have some of my more violent ones or higher quality videos. ill probably end up having my expiremental crossover vid hosted there. hell i now have a place to have beta vids. horray. well thats about it. out.
- compositing 2005-07-05 16:17:37 well today i got a new cell phone. my contract on my other phone expired so i was able to get a new one. horray! i composited a few more scenes for my crossover video. its turning out really good although scenes are hard to find to actually cross them over. may have to draw in scenes myself or some thing along those lines. if im lucky i can get this video done within a month. im also gonna try and get my hands on vegas 6 and after effects soon. especially before my trial version of AE runs out. thats how i composited most of my scenes. its a lot easier to composit in AE 6.5 then AE 5. well thats about it for now. out.
- strangest idea ever! 2005-07-03 01:45:35 well today i came up with a strange video idea to work on. its going to a short crossover video between Love Hina and Bible Black Origins. dont ask me how the idea came to me but it did. the reason why its going to be short is the lack of footage so itll probably be about 2 mins at most. there will probably be about 10 still image sequences frames and about 5 actual interaction sequences. like i said lack of footage to work here. another reason why im going to attempt this video is so ill learn from it and ill be better prepared for my actual one. so this is mainly learning experience. so far i got one scene composited and it looks pretty good so far. right now im getting the original scenes in order so i know where to put them when i get done compositing. another crazy thing about this video is that there isnt going to be any sexual scenes! another reason why the video will be short. well thats all the amv news for now. i still have to get those other ones i havent finished on my computer yet. eh what ever. out.
- encoding anime sucks ! 2005-06-28 17:34:19 i have had problems encoding anime lately. i tried to get my amvs into suitable file sizes but for some reason they turn out crappy. both mpeg, avi and wmv. i wish i had xvid. the latest vid i managed to encode turned out pretty well. although its just a tiny bit over the org file size limit. ill see if i can get down to 95 MBS. i managed to save the quality on this vid. if i didnt it would have looked ugly. even my regular file sizes of the mpeg versions sucked. especialy when there was a lot of movement. my two dbz dvds came today. watching the Saiyan saga in japanese is great. speaking of DBZ im thinking about trying to get my hands on the DBZ Dragon Boxes. thats if i can find them. im also thinking about buying the R2 dvds of One Piece. it seems like were not getting the uncut version right away. stupid edited dvds. if 4kids was smart enough they would have edited versions on tv. uncut on dvd. those dvds will probably cost me an arm and a leg but theyll be worth it. im done rambling for today. out.
- my poor car + rambling. 2005-06-26 19:03:57 well it seems my car isnt running right. i turned it on the other day and all of the lights came on and then some. so i will have to get that checked out. it had to crap out on me just when i might have another chance to get a job. hopefuly ill get it seen before then. ive started to get the hang of after effects. i dl a trial version of 6.5 that actualy worked! though it is kind of unstable with the eraser and clone tools. ive figured out some new effects like basic 3D, masking witht the pen tool and eraser tools. the only effects i really need right now. so i will probably buy a discounted version of AE 6.5 some time soon. im not buying any of that oem or download crap which is probably pirated any ways or dl off kazaa. wouldnt surprise me. at least ill have a version thats actually working and stable. i had AE 6.5 crash on me once already. im also considering on buying vegas 6. found it for a decent price that wasnt academic crap. im too lazy to hand in all that information. well thats about it for now. out.
