Well after reading some of the comments posted in the AWA Pro Discussion thread about my video, they actually give me a laugh. Its been a while that I've had any real criticisim on my vids so its a good change. Sadly though no real striking amvs this year from the AWA contest. Some of the vids I've seen already.

I just finished the series Durarara!! I decided to watch it in english to check out how the Aniplex dub was. It was an awkward dub at first but I got used to it. It started off really slow and boring but by the time it hit the fifth episode it started to get better. But I was let down at the end since towards the end it has all this build up and tension and the ending seemed kiddiefied and lots of loose ends. From my understanding the light novels are still going and the anime is only based on the first three. Hopefully there will be a season 2. I expected some characters to die in this and figures this turned out to be a "no one gets killed anime."
One thing is for sure I enjoyed this series more than Bacanno. Bacanno was too confusing for me and it didn't really get good until the end. On another note, I really didn't like Issac and Maria's dub voices in the Aniplex dub. Ugh, they were terrible. Funi's versions of them were much better. I'm glad they only had a minor appearance. If I was watching this on tv I probably would have stopped after episode 2 or 3. Decent show, but its more intriguing than anything, since the intrigue of the show is what made me keep watching. Out.
