I must be a glutton for punishment...

I am just going to keep making these damned things until I GET A WORTHY ONE! That should have been my New Year's Resolution...
"I solemnly swear I will keep making AMV banners until I make one that gets voted as worthy, after which I will cease and desist my efforts."
On the bright side, I am really starting to get the hang of PhotoShop.

Still no luck...

Neither banner made it to "worthy" status. Damn. And to top it off, the site I bought my computer from sent me the wrong memory, which means I have to send it back. ARGH!
I find myself debating what song to do next for my videos... I have so many ideas, and I really hate waiting for the new computer. It just takes way too long to copy DVDs at this point, there has to be a faster way to do it (I like my program - I use ImToo DVD Ripper, which works well enough for me, at least for now). Especially since I hate recycling footage - if I'm doing a new video, I want new clips!

Okay, so I lied...

I made another banner, after I said I wasn't going to. Actually, I made two. We'll see what happens with these - they're pending votes at the moment. Although, I have to admit that the one I'm looking at right now at the top of the screen is really cool. (I save some of my favorites on my computer.)

Yay! New video!

I haven't put it on here yet (I'll do that when I get to work on Sunday, I hope), and it's really short, and I'm not quite certain what to call it yet. But I'll think of something. And I think it's the fastest I've made a video yet. I started it Thursday at around 5pm (that's when I started copying clips into it), stopped at around 9:30pm or so to go to sleep (hey, I get up at 4am for work, force of habit), got up again at around 8 or so Friday morning, and finished it about 9am. And voila!
I like it a lot, it's the fastest paced video I've done yet.
For the potentially curious, it's a SAMURAI 7 video done to "Too Many Notes, Not Enough Rests" by Hans Zimmer (from the film DROP ZONE).

And on and on it goes...

For some reason, the computer company I ordered my stuff from didn't process my order. So I have half a computer. Much good that does me.
On the bright side, I storyboarded out yet ANOTHER video idea (I am not going to have a weekend for six years at this rate).
I am trying to think of a good MADLAX video to do, but haven't yet had divine inspiration strike. Also temporarily taking a break from banners, it's damned depressing to try so often and fail so often.
