  • NEW VIDEO! 2006-07-12 12:39:07 Worked my tail off last night and the night before, but my coolest AMV to date is now DONE!

    From the first time I heard the song "Colors" by Crossfade, I thought it would make a fantastic AMV... then John (who was in the car with me at the time) said, "Why not do it to 'Aquarian Age'?" (The series, not the movie - the movie sucked.)

    So I bounced the idea around in my head, and finally came up with the angle. At the same time, I designed what are now the official SAMURAIKOPRODUCTIONS.COM opening and closing credits (and you gotta admit, they are pretty spiffy). Then I got the new computer and new software, which meant I could REALLY go whole hog.

    So to those who read these things, enjoy! And please don't forget to comment! 
  • And here we go again... 2006-07-04 09:18:33 It's been almost three months since my last posting, I've been working my a&& off on my writing and my LiveJournal and a few new AMVs... I need to find a way to get my DVD ripper program on my husband's computer coz his is MUCH faster than my own.

    New banner pending votes... doubt this one will make it either but you never know...
     
  • Oh YEAH! 2006-04-16 15:55:12 The new computer is hooked up, software is on it, and I am ready to rock! (In a couple of days, I'll be getting the router that will let me network my old computer to the new one so I can move over all my video files, rather than have to do it all over again, plus cable modem in two weeks!)

    I already re-did the opening SAMURAIKO PRODUCTIONS clip with new video and sound (as a test of the new computer, and it is SWEET) - so now I can revamp to my heart's content. Ahhh, life is good. Of course, it's not quite as snazzy as some that I have seen, but I still think it looks damned cool, and very elegant, if I do say so myself. 
  • THE NEW COMPUTER IS FINALLY HERE! 2006-04-09 16:10:58 AND I just got a bunch of nifty software to go with it! This is going to be so AWESOME!

    Although I am curious on how AMV deals with someone wanting to clean up a video they are already published... do I have to create a whole new entry? Or do I just update the one I already have?

    Hmmmm...

    I finally found my inspiration for a Madlax video, too... the pain is going to be getting a good quality version of the song. This is going to take some work.
     
  • Since it seems people do read these... 2006-03-18 14:58:52 Does anyone who reads journal entries (including mine) know how to do original animation? I don't care which program is used, but if you can do animation, please drop me a line...

    Also, if you are a successful banner designer for AMV, please drop me a line as well, my website needs a new banner...
