Hubby's computer crashed. More specifically, his hard drive.
With a VERY large chunk of the video files I had saved on there for creating my stuff. And a lot of the music I wanted to use for my videos. And some of the artwork I wanted to use with my videos.
The stream of profanity coming from my apartment must have blistered the paint off the walls of anyone living within 100 yards of my place.
*sigh*
So now I am all the way back to square one for video creation. But I will endeavor to stay positive... like what program I should put on there to do my video editing with. Questions, questions... -

Usually videos go up within 10 minutes of uploading them - but the video I uploaded yesterday took a LOT longer than that. I wonder why - I spent a good part of yesterday wondering if I'd done something wrong during the upload process, but thankfully now it's there.
Guess the AMV tech folks are a bit swamped at the moment. Oh well...

Yay, my first PRINCESS TUTU video finally gets uploaded. But God, I really hate Windows Movie Maker now. The damned program crashes every other time I open it (or locks up, or SOMETHING), but I don't know what program I should try and get to replace it! ARGH!
I know people read this thing - what would you guys recommend as a good (but not too expensive) alternative to WMM? Anyone?
Either way, "Happiness, Glory, and Love" came out really well (all things considered), so I'm reasonably happy. Hopefully it'll garner some notice (especially since it doesn't use the same 10 clips that everyone ELSE's video uses, thank God for that). -
And 2007 is off to a flying start...

Yep, SAMURAIKO PRODUCTIONS hits the ground running with revamps of three videos, and two entirely new ones! (As I have the chance, I am uploading the revamps on here...) God it feels good doing them RIGHT for a change!
So for those of you who read journals, please do take a mo to watch the new ones and lemme know whatcha think! -

FINALLY was able to get my username changed from SIGNLOVER to SAMURAIKO (to reflect that I finally nabbed my domain name after ages of trying). And woot, I got an Opinion on my latest video! (It really did come out spiffy...)
I seem to be better at AMVs than I am at banners, not that a claim like that is saying much. :S
