Space drawings for new anime!

My dad may have unintentionally kicked my imagination into high-gear. He was on TurboCad, trying to make a drawing for a space station. He couldn't get it to look right, so I drew it for him. I have to admit, it looks pretty cool. I'm hoping to take that drawing and some others I'm making to animation class on Wednesday and start work on them.
Besides the station, I did a drawing of the power source for the station, (a blue transparent orb floating and centered inside a ring with electricity going out from it) and right now I'm working on one of the ships. For some reson I want to call it MANTIS 1, even though it's going to look more like a butterfly or sideways jellyfish; haven't decided which yet.
I'm going to have no trouble coming up with sound effects; several are already going through my head! ;)
I'm thinking of combining the drawings with a not-finished story I wrote for English last August when I was still in high school. -
As yesterday and tomorrow merge together.....I realize I need to write better poetry..."

Well, I started college yesterday. What can I say? What a huge, crowded, confusing, exciting, weird, beautiful place it is!
I LOVED animation class, even though I haven't even begun to work with the computer yet. Steve (my teacher; he goes on a first-name basis) showed a whole bunch of computer-animated demos and shorts. I was completly facinated! All I could think was 'I'm going to be doing THAT?! COOL!' I can't wait untill tomorrow to start!
I'm a bit nervous about self defense class, though. Mr. Mcghee says that eventually, everyone is going to break a board. (ouch.) Well, all I can do is my best... -

I can't belive I start college today! It seems like there's so much for me to do, and such a short time in which to do it! ;)
It's kind of interesting to think that dredd and I are reading each other's journal entries. (yeah, he found out) Not like e-mail, and not quite like a chat room...somewhere in between.
I'd better scoot now.

Well, today I went back to the college and got my ASB (student id) card and my books for the animation class, among other things. So it looks like I'm all set.
Now I just need my courage... -
Evangelion/The Time Machine/ dream

I had the weirdest dream last night. I was with Jacob in the green Geo Metro, but he had turned it into an anime time machine. We were in the Neon Genesis Evangelion setting, and he had to go at 90mph to time-travel. The weird thing about it was that it was so real! The city was totally trashed; it looked worse than Independance Day. Twisted metal beams, smoking buildings that had been blown half-apart, burning cars, and widespread destruction was everywhere. It was at night when we were driving through the city, so it looked really creepy. At one point, the car was filling with water, so we had to get out. After that, it's just a blur of running around the city, getting lost, sleeping with Jacob on a living room
couch, and complete confusion.
