Just a random thought...
Air should really be liscenced in the US
compelling storyline + great art/animation = win

yep...this semester is my most difficult so far (go figure...it gets harder as time goes on)
I knew about physics 2...but calc3 was supposed to be easier than calc 2.
Eastern Asian Civilazation up to 1600 (China + Japan) is mildly interesting
and Programming 3 (C++) has been all review...for 3 weeks @_@
rant:
My calc 3 professor is soft spoken...and hardly faces the class (looks out the window a lot, and stares into the blackboard)
I sit right in front of him...he calls my name (handing back quizzes), so I raise my hand...he doesn't see it (I'm 3 freakin feet from his face)
last Wednesday he gives a ridiculous ammount of homework (50+ questions...on which we were quizzed on friday about)
the sheer number of questions discouraged me from doing them (I do have other classes in which I also get homework)
On last Friday, we were given an assignment...with no lecture about how to do the assignment. The lecture came today...which means I wasted about 1.25 hours listening to what I had to figure out on my own over the weekend. (I mean, why would you give the instructions before telling us to do an assignment)
My professor's teaching method flat out sucks...not to mention the slight hint of an eliteist attitude.
his reason for having us listen to him is because a: the book jumps to useful conclusions without showing the long way first (his way is superior because he shows the "real" form of whatever we're studying...kinda like forcing us to use a taylor polynomial before we can use a calculator)
and b: because we are bound to the x,y,z coordinate plane, and that dibilitates us (so he continues in the u,w,v or i,j,k coordinate plane)
changing something's name does not change what the something is
so far I'm 1 for 3 for math professors (calc1 professor sucked, calc2 professor was great, calc 3 professor sucks so far)...and I still have another semester of calc left

...just looked back at this.
all I had to do was go to control panel-administrative tools-services and start every service manually.
moved back into my dorms at school.
this time I got to choose my room, so I wasn't stuck on the bottom floor next to the laundry room like I was last year.
didn't get much work done on my amv. was working ~30 hrs/week.
I traded mental labor for physical labor...and now I'm back to mental labor
but I did get most of the footage finalized, and startd playing around with after effects.
It is a very intimidating (and hard to learn) but also very powerful. -

...my laptop got messed up...
many months of toils are in danger of dissapearing before my eyes
guess I should've made some more system restore points (although I don't think it would have done much good)
almost all of my personal settings were erased, including internet connection options.
I can't play any audio, and random services stopped running. (any and all system restore points were also deleted)
be careful if you go into msconfig and select diagnostic startup.
good thing I still have a few tricks up my sleeve (in the middle of trying my first option, which includes a manual backup of all important files) -

Bah...been awhile
straight B's last semester...not too bad
get to work 6 days next week (and I also start manager shifts)
...almost to the point where I give up on my new amv (9 months old...no thanks to school)...just a little further...just a little further
got promoted at work (shift manager) and a raise...and a chance to earn bonuses
and with my next check...I get to finish repariing my 87 Mercury Lynx
rear struts rusted through (19 years as a minnesota car...not bad)...totaled $400
need to replace a front wheel bearing, that costs another $200
...I wonder when I'll get Ah! MY Goddess (tv) vol.5
yup...the world can suck...
at least I can deal with it (I think...probably just a combonation of busy+things don't shock me too much)
