  • 2006-10-29 02:20:42 Hooray for obsolete traditions messing up people's lives (aka Daylight Saving Time)
...at least it's acceptable in the fall.

I wanna wake up on Tuesday at 7am and have it be dark outside (not that I want to wake up at 7 am...just that I want it to be dark when I do wake up)

I don't want to wite the test cases for my program...it's probably the most boring part about programing (and I already fixed everything...it works for every case in my program). But it's good style to properly document and test your code...*sigh*

    ...must...resist.....self-pimping...
    www.
    www.anime...
bah, I just don't have it in me.

last [random] thought for the moment, I want a juice box.
A nice apple juicy-juice juice box sounds really good right now
(juice boxes are for college kids too :p)
  • 2006-10-27 00:31:17 ....
    ...
    could it be?
    ...
    my...my amv...it's done?
    no! it's not possible!
but it's rendering right now...on my computer.
over a year of work, finally comes to an end.

well...nothing left to do but check it over, and do the final encode.
    *cheers*
  • 2006-10-24 23:36:45 heh...I managed to "borrow" Moonie211's starter tips
    sure beats the long-winded explaination

Lovin the new avatar dimension limits. Since I'm not very artsy I just searched for a picture that I liked that I could crop.
Ended up using a picture of Kai from E's otherwise from some box art(an ok, series...not great, but it does have its moments)

I finally figured out what was wrong in my program. The fix I found entailied me writing two new lines of code, and re-writing a third (hate it when the fixes are that easy)
got the rest of it done (at least, the stuff that my algorithm entails. just need to print out a few more stats).

The good news on this, I have lots of time. The assignment got extended another 5 days...even better is that I'm going to be able to turn it in before the original due date

this semester continues to pwn me, but it doesn't matter if I loose a few battles if I win the war
  • 2006-10-23 00:19:59 figured out one of the problems with my program.
my constructors and get_front were flawed (this is for the queue data type that I defined). Really goes to show that you that you can sit through as many classes as you want, but practical application will always be an important part of this field (Computer Science)

...that reminds me, on Thursday the TA for my programing lab gave the lecture (for some reason, the professor wasn't there) but it was one of the few programing lectures that I haven't fallen alseep in.

so now my problem seems to be with my enqueue function...maybe I'm trying to put items in the wrong place...*goes to check*
    [time passes]
    ..no dice
I have a variable that I confirm has the correct info in it, then I enqueue it, and try to print out the data that I just enqueued, and it comes up empty...

    [more time passes]
narrowed it down to my get_front function...for some reason it doesn't work the way I want it to, and that's messing me up. thanks for listening
  • 2006-10-22 04:02:21 6 hours spent progaming
53 Calc problems done (my professor did it again...I wonder if he seriously expects people to finish these ludicrous ammounts of homework)
1 chapter read in physics book

dissapointed with programing today...thought I would've gotten further in 6 hours...
The wierdest thing keeps happening. Whenever I want to add/subtract 0.1 from a variable of type float it gives me some random small number more often than not.
paths that should be executed aren't
paths that should only be executed once are executing 10 times
my program is pwning me hard core and I can't make it shut up...HELP.

my physics book isn't doin it for me either
