suprised that I didn't make another entry while I was in programming today.
Though I did have other things to attend to (no more details for you :p)
Actually learned something worthy of this class, Tables (more specifically hash-tables).
our last program for this class makes use of tables (almost like database-type stuff)
similar to another program we did back in the previous class (CS 251)...but I'm still not looking forward to it
got to play stump the T.A. on tuesday.
My lab (for some unknown reason) isn't working properly.
We tried various things for about an hour to no avail (exhausted all of the T.A.'s tricks)
...the labs in this lab manual suck
little parts of my vid are coming to me, some end up working better than others.
I guess I pretty much start out with a very short, but solid, section...and then build on that (both forwards and backwards in the timeline).
Trying to keep in mind that this is supposed to be a trailer, just realized that I should include a few more specific clips. (better get the clips before I forget)

Results back from pre-break exams.
Calc 3: 116/150 (77%)
Programming: 73/100
ran out of time for calc 3. I knew everything on the exam (for the most part), the problem was that the problems took me too long (heck, even the prof takes 15 minutes to do 1 example. So why should we be able to do 15 of these in 75 minutes?)
programming 3 was a suprise...I could've sworn that I did better than that.
points off for inefficient design. that took 15 points off. I lost 7 points because we were tested on quick sort...which the professor fumbled through, once in class, and we never used, and were not previously quizzed on...
Physics TA didn't show up today (so I got up at 7am for nothing...I could've slept for another hour and a half).
only 2 weeks of class left.
I think I missed some more internet sarcasm...Kariudo v3.5.2 is still not compatible with internet sarcasm.
*the 3 signifies that this is my third forum I've joined, I will not discuss the 5, and the 2 signifies experience in whatever 5 may be.

back at the dorms, and as was the case last year...the train was full.
got to sit next to another stranger...not that it's a bad thing, just making a note of it.
did my reading for history (40+ good sized pages all about the intercracies(sp) of Chinese civilization during the Tang dynasty)
managed to see some of my friends while I was home (I was at a friend's house til 1 am...and I got up at 6am to catch the train)...but the break was nowhere near long enough.
finally started working on my next amv (for now it's a 50-second trailer, but things might go so well that I end up making it longer) and I'm really happy with how things are turning out. I remember why I like editing now ^_^
too bad I can't keep this going too much longer tonight...I think I might be in a groove. -

yep...I'm home. (a thousand curses upon this dial-up)
6 hours on a train...with an abundance of small children...and I'm just sitting here (somehow I knew this was going to happen)
Picked up the fourth disk of Gundam Seed Destiny...and a dvi cable for my lcd monitor (single link...the double link one was $50) so I think I'll watch that tonight.
I was going to be online on my desktop...but it seems my brother dsirespected my property...again...and took the modem out of my computer. (the last time he did something he let one of his friends install something on my computer. It wasn't bad, but he really needs to learn a bit more respect for people's property)
Because of that I decided to put a password on the only account...but I almost forgot it 0_o.
for some reason I am able to use the x.264 CLI on my desktop...but not my laptop.
Wierd...maybe meGUI will work too (so I can put AAC audio with my .mp4 isntead of .mp3 audio).

no rush, I'm just bored...I know you'll get to it eventually (holiday mep I'm guessing)
Stopped in at my winter/summer workplace to pick up some 'za. It was nice to see pretty much everyone still there (I even ran into one of my friends).
I didn't have as much to say as I thought I did...it was still nice to get some real pizza. (that and I still get my employee discount [20%], though I could've gotten the manager discount [50%]...still got a discount though)
