calc test went fine, there's one part of one problem that I know for a fact I got wrong...but I think I got everything else.
so now I get to sit back, watch a new episode of House...and edit.
yes, you heard me...I'm editing again.
Thanks to help from my beta testers (worked my way up to 4 now) I am nearly done with my amv.
All that's left is a little more masking and...some more masking (cutting out lip flap in a few spots)
I got asked by ReXMaster to join the Rage against the machine mep...which I'm considering on joining.
If I finish this (current amv) up tonight I just might be able to do it.
It would be cool to see sky & me side by side, battling it out for honor, glory...and the last piece of pizza. -

man...the techs in the dorms are next to useless (what a suprise)
chuggin' along with some online stuff on Saturday night...then BAM! out of nowhere I get disconnected at 7pm local time.
As far as I know, it happened to all 4 towers (I hardly know anyone else in here)...and computer operations doesn't come in until monday.
by about 9:30-ish today they had reset the connection...or just generally made it work again.
hopefully I can get back on track pretty soon.

I always have a fun time trying to get a new avatar.
I wanted it to be Haseo from .hack//roots, but I couldn't find a suitable picture.
so I ended up getting a screencap of Derek Stiles, the main character in Trauma Center: Second Opinion (for my wii)
With the exception of the hair color, I think I look pretty much like him (my hair is really dark brown. When it's wet it looks black)
then I browsed deviantart for a good background and found a cool desktop someone made of a tatoo design that they wanted to get.
a little use of After Effects's pen tool and I came up with this

only 4 more dbz vids until the org hits 10,000 of them.
statics is still pretty easy, got back from statics "lab" (more of a discussion really).
after taking calc 3 and physics 2, I'm pretty confident with vector algebra (2d and 3d).
converting shperical coordinates to cartesian is pretty much what 3d vector problems are like.
My memory is either getting really bad, or I just have a lot to remember. I know that most of my classes have told me when the first quiz/exam are...but I can't remember any of the dates.
I still haven't memorized my class schedule (I know the rooms, but not some of the class times)
I'm pretty well set for homework (the only homework I haven't finished is the stuff that I got in class today). I might get to editing a little more (why can't I finish a video in a timely manner anymore...)

now that I actually have something to write about I'm writing.
finally finished up the homework for my Digital Logic class...it took forever.
Technically I still have to write my work and justify my steps on another piece of paper...but all the steps are there.
I must've spent about 3-4 hours working on that stupid thing.
all I have left to do is 3 thermodynamics problems and finish 1 calc 4 problem.
the thermo shouldn't be too hard, but whenever I get stuck on calc 4, I really get stuck.
the book isn't too much help, and we were only given one example in class...might just have to turn in what I have.
We got snow again today, up til about 1pm local time (since sometime before 3am).
I think it looks like about 4-6 inches.
how did I know that it was snowing outside at 3am? because I was up.
First woken by my noisy suitemate who likes to play halo on xbox live until 2:30 am
(I had fallen asleep, but he woke me up) and then a tow truck came.
...tow trucks are not very stealthy. I wonder if whoever got that vehicle towed considered that they would probably wake up 3,000 people.
not sure if it was the university that got it towed or some unlucky person who just happened to get stuck about 100ft from my window which is as soundproof as a sieve is waterproof...but I'm leaning towrds the first one.
at least I have one good thing to look forward to. Guitar hero 2 tonight from 9pm-12am. hopefully it won't devolve into just halo like the other "game nights" that were supposed to have ddr
