JOURNAL: Kariudo (Derek )

  • 2007-09-11 21:09:50 I guess the House premiere isn't for another 2 weeks
    T_T
  • 2007-09-11 19:02:51 darn it...why do I keep insisting to modify my computer?
I probably won't be satisfied until I end up destroying something...at which time I'll probably also be sad because I would've just broken a good computer.

Latest enterprise into computational danger: updating chipset driver.
result: BSOD telling me vidstub.sys tried to write to read-only memory (thank goodness for last known good config)

got a new qc on blue trailer today
    # 2007-09-11 18:09:43 really nice
    glad you liked it

House season premiere is tonight...so when I'm done screwing around with my computer I'll be watching that
and after that I'll probably do some more homework
  • 2007-09-09 20:11:13 I never thought that I would use my journal for this...but this is made of several kinds of win

    that is all
  • 2007-09-09 00:18:36 In the dorms, a good day is a day where I can almost close the windows.
    Today was a good day.
Some drunk guy came into my room earlier tonight, speech slurred...but fairly well composed.
As long as I don't become overly involved, and my roommate keeps his drinking out of our room, then I don't really care what he does.

worked a little more on my gateway segment...I now have a good transition for something that'l take up the last 12 seconds (so no...I didn't really make any progress :/ )

Did some reading today, should do more tomorrow...but the reading I have to do (circuits 1) is long...some 60 pages with really small text

I should take the bus downtown next week sometime to make sure I'll have enough time to catch my flight the week after

*journal is out of toner, please check the cartridge and try again*
  • 2007-09-07 12:38:00 no class for me today (in fact, no class for me on every Friday this semester)
so I got to "sleep in"...though waking up at the same time I have been waking up all week doesn't really count as sleeping in.

I have stuff that needs to be done.
-make sure I have money to do laundry
    -turn in tutoring application
-submit work orders to fix some things in my suite
    -homework/reading (maybe)
I'll probably start working on the list soon, but I need to wait for my roommate to wake up so I can print off the tutoring form.

I signed up to run (or help run) the amv contest for my school's convention (Taking place Feb 29 -Mar 2, 2008)
so I got to make up the contest rules yesterday...It took a while (spent somewhere between 2 and 3 hours on it last night), and I'll probably have to revise it a few times.
I'll be posting the details on the forums when I get them.
I might also be part of the "how to make amvs" panel
