Discrete information structures exam went fairly well yesterday, until I got to the last problem (proof by mathematical induction)
the theory isn't hard, but I just couldn't twist my third equation to match the second one
they both give the correct results...but that's not good enough
Dynamics exam today was...not so great.
I managed to write something down for all the problems...but just how correct it is is anyone's guess.
Hoping that this is one of those, "the people who do good always think they did bad" kinda exams
I have been sent a challenge
2 hours to edit to a 5 minute song
what the heck was I thinking...
*prepares to be utterly destroyed*
still working on PLC homework...need to start on circuits too
so much for having free time this weekend

It got cold...something near a 40*F drop in about 1.5 days
yesterday I was wearing a t-shirt, and today I'm wearing a sweatshirt (and a coat)
test 2 of 3 is tomorrow (then I have one on Friday)
so I get to do a little studying for that later today...after I pour more effort into my Programming Languages Concepts class (which I'll just abbreviate as plc henceforth)
plc homework is easier when I realize that I don't have to re-implement some conversion functions...but I still haven't figured out how to select specific elements from a list. (say you have a list [1,2,3,4], I want to take 2 and 4 and make that a new list that would turn out like [2,4])
I usually end up waiting outside my dynamics classroom (where I am atm) for the hour between my previous class and dynamics.
so I usually try to browse thar interwebs, but my laptop still is acting funny
I don't even know if I'll be able to finish this journal entry before my laptop decides to shutdown again :/
...I guess I finished it
/goes to class

alright, my cold seems to be over. Which is very good because I have exams this week.
If I didn't post this in an earlier entry, my colds hit hard and fast...then they disappear.
I was pretty much down for the count yesterday, but I managed to make it to the marathon.
Kino's Journey is only ok imo. Character design is average. The plot, well written as it may be, just didn't present itself in a wide array of moods...just calmness (for the most part)
there are series that do similar things, but calm gets boring really fast.
Worked like a madman on my homework during the week, so I got a bit of a break this weekend. I should do some reading though...
Basic layout for the Anime Milwaukee site is done, now I get to wait for some art.
It's not up yet, but it should be up relatively soon, I want to get it up within the month
Webmaster? me? hardly...
AMV contest coordinator...a bit more believable
Did laundry today...and so did everyone else.
I managed to get a washer, but when I came down for a dryer, some group of imbeciles decided to use half of the dryers and not bother to check back on them. Eventually, the six or so other people waiting for a dryer with me decided to throw the dry clothes sitting in the dryers onto the table and other washers.
I didn't want to keep watch over my dryer for an hour to make sure those other people didn't throw my stuff out...so I waited for another machine to open up.
overall, those morons managed to waste about 30 minutes of my life.

heh...I just realized that I stopped in the middle of a thought
one of the problems I had with statics is that every now and then we would be given a problem that used obscure tricks not covered in the text or in lecture.
It's happening more often this semester in dynamics :/
thanks beth...but instead of taking a nap I ended up helping one of my suitemates with removing a few viruses
I gots me some gummy bears...and having something to drink made me feel a bit better for the time being
oh yeah...*steals top spot back again*
Tomorrow is an anime club marathon, we're watching Kino's Journey
not terribly interested in it atm, but I get free pizza if I go
I'll probably take some homework with me
Last thought for now: Folding is working out pretty well. I don't usually use my GPU...and am out for the majority of the day.
So it seems to be a good way to contribute something towards disease research.
I've completed 11 Work units, accumulating 3411 points
for those who don't know, or are interested...here's the f@h home page

if you do start folding, fold for team 43461!

*ousts the top journal position from beth*
I has a cold...*sniffle*
spent 4 hours working on dynamics homework today...and I ended up not being able to work out half of the problems
I know how to use the formulas given...but these problems are something else
this is one of the problems that I had with statics, some of the problems
...I swear I had more to say, but I'm just going downhill
thoughts jumbled...homework to do...website to make...
at least I didn't get sick during the week
