Oh yeaaaaaah, hit 8K
Anime Milwaukee is over, and I can breathe (and sleep) once more.
We managed to continue our trend, and had over double the number of attendees that we had in the previous year.
AMKE 2.5 (2009): ~800
AMKE 3.5 (2010): ~2100
It just strikes me as amazing that I have helped a con to grow from 399 and no reputation whatsoever when I first started with AMKE to now where we have over 2000 attendees coming from as far east as New York and as far west as Colorado (no idea how far south yet)
The new scheme for showing the amvs seems to have worked out quite well, might have to make some more changes for next year though.
I are tiredperson, time to shower and then go to bed and not have to wake up at 6:45am -

Well...Anime Milwaukee starts tomorrow.
Despite having to wake up at 6:45am, 4-5 hours earlier than I usually would be on a Friday, I'm getting excited.
Although it's good that I'm still getting excited for running amke, it's bad because I'll have a hard time getting to sleep. I'd already have trouble getting to sleep when I shift my sleep schedule back 4-5 hours, but being excited isn't going to help much. The icing on the cake is that Sunday is the start of daylight saving time...which means I'll be getting about...4 hours of sleep (if I'm lucky)
