It's not like you can't see what the song is before you download it.

busy times since last entry
lotsa homework, scrambling to get gateway finished (which I'm glad to say I am finished)
seriously, that 30 seconds segment took way too much time.
Code Geass R2 first episode out. 1280x720 anime = win.
The first ep reminded me of the first ep of season one in more than one way. Overall, pretty enjoyable, and a solid start to season 2
The ending for Gundam 00 was very good, a definite cliffhanger...not as epic as code geass was but it was still a very satisfying end to season 1 of that.
Midterms, quizzes and exams time
econ exam 2: 18.5/20 (darned defenitions got me again |: ...)
circuits quiz: 4.5/5 (really surprised me, my answer was completely wrong)
algorithms midterm: 15.5/21 (right about average...I think I lost the most on the 2 coding questions. The rest of the exam was fairly easy up til that point)
circuits and networks exams coming up this week
AMKE website overhaul, nearly finished. The color scheme is official now, so I got everything to match that. Somewhat significant changes were made to the layout, and I redid the logo in inkscape so that it could be resized to whatever I see fit.
The person who wanted to be webmaster this year ended up being in charge of the forums (which I don't have the time or motivation to manage) but that didn't stop her from voicing her dislike of my design (old and new.)
If she doesn't have a replacement design ready, then it doesn't matter how much she hates it. [/laying down the law]
Spent a good chunk of the day making the site work in Opera and making the xhtml valid (css was already valid).
Back in the fall of 07, the bent that I was given to shine for the honor society I joined was very rough...I didn't have anything to work with, so I just ended up using the steel wool disk on the disk grinder in the machine shop to get it kinda shiny.
Spent some time sanding it down the past few days.
Now it's nice, smooth, shiny (so shiny that I can see my face in it. Mirror finish ftw), and did I mention smooth?
Next time I have to lap a cpu or heatsink, I'll be ready.
My technique is complete, there is no rough, metallic surface that can stand in my way now (another part of my master plan falls into place...mwahahahaha)
Last thought for now: I really need to get back to writing my lab report :/ -

goin home
finally sent out emails trying to get an internship out to companies...took me long enough to do it though.
gonna leave my desktop to fold for the week, I think its stable enough to do that...linux has only frozen when I have firefox running :/
gotta do homework over break...but it should go pretty smoothly
that is except for my circuits project. I stayed up til 4am on Thursday morning trying to work on it (have to get up at 8:30am on Thursdays) then I spent another 3 hours in lab that afternoon.
Eventually, one of the guys in the lab figured something out...I "borrowed" his design, to which he said I couldn't since he patented it, to which I said I Einstiened his idea
ended up actually improving on that guy's design a bit
so the design for the project is done...now I just gotta get my partners to hold up their end
other plans for break:
make a 2 minute drama vid
redo the amke site layout

whoot, total local downloads for all my videos has reached 1000
local downloads for blue trailer have reached 300 (nearing 400 with the indirect link)
felt kinda meh today, but a good game of freecell fixed that right up

results back from EM fields exam, 92%
managed to pull all the concepts together, I would've gotten 100% if I did the curl correctly (it was an order of operations thing that got me... cross product should be evaluated before partial derivatives in this case)
now that we're done with learning the stuff we'll be using a lot in the class we're jumping into electrostatics
...and now I remember why I hate electrostatics
had to sneak out of econ early today so that I could sign up for a room (in the dorms) for next year
ended up choosing the same room
For the time being, I actually have no homework
...that might change after I get back from networks...which I just realized I should have left for a few minutes ago bye
