  • 2006-06-22 23:28:20 Firstly I caved and posted on the amv forums again... oh the mindlessness will consume me.

    As far as my latest amv goes... I have approximately 6 days left to finish it. Gah! I'm too picky by far I keep going back to sections I've done and tweaking them just that little bit.

    I'm of two minds about the masks I used at one point. It looks good on some of the clips but eh.. not so on the others but I need to have it on them so I can go back to normal with out just suddenly cutting it.

    I really would love to have another (better hopefully) entry for this years AVcon especially since I'm paying engough to fly over there for the con. But on the other hand I want to take my time and do a good job with this amv. 
  • 2006-06-21 20:33:43 I'm tempted to post on the forums here again. I haven't posted there since about 2003 I think. But I dunno... I lurk there often engough certainly but... well it's not like I can download any videos for the two weeks I'm at work and that's when I do most of my lurking and well by the time I have downloaded them the threads announcing them have sunk into the forum depths and I don't feel like dragging them out again. I mean people bump them often engough as is... but maybe it's better for someone who actually watched the video and has something to say to bump it rather than the creator who comes across as wanting attention.

    Also while some of the threads in general amv can be interesting they still degrade into spam or repetitiveness rather quickly.

    I'm also thinking I should post most of my amv thoughts project progess stuff here rather than on my lj. I beginning to think I shouldn't inflict any more amv rants on my friends, than they already get in person. :P And isn't that what these journals are supposedly for?

    Hmmm... dunno... so indecisive... I guess I just keep thinking...
