in regards to my last journal 2009-03-30 15:40:09 believe me, i went to go see it just for laughs, i knew it wasn't going to be good.

but,
it was SO horrible,
that I couldn't even get a laugh out of it for how horrible it was! D:

people who have never seen/read the series will be like 'wtf, that was retarded' and people who want to watch the movie because they are a fan of the series will be offended at how little to do with the anime it is. the only thing this movie has in common with the Dragonball series is the dragonballs :/ The kid who plays goku isn't even asian (apparently this has to do with the storyline, but i was already so bored as to not care), and bulma (my favorite character in the series) isn't nearly as technologically savvy as in the anime. Plus, when it came time for piccolo's entrance, i SWEAR there were patches of skin the make-up artist missed while painting him green. D:

PLUS. You cannot, cannot, cannot make a Dragonball movie PG! Even the Sailor Moon live action was TV's equivalent of PG-13!

not worth your time, even if going for a laugh....

finally, a movie that sucks MORE than twilight.
