- Bah 2005-09-01 00:28:02 Well.....poop. I must have invested many a man-hours feverishly working at putting together a sound mix for this project before, as if out of nowhere I had the epiphany of how absolutely unnecessary it all was. I have returned back to *eek* square one. At least in a sense. All the scoring I put together I still feel it very strong, it's just a matter of filling in the blanks here and there. Perhaps I’m further along on this project than I was able to foresee.
- The Big Fight 2005-08-30 02:09:11 I'm having a real run in of a time trying to match up the climactic battle in this short with a suitable piece of score. I've run through a number of different pieces, and most simply don't do anything for the moment, other than ruin it. In retrospect I’ve shed a tear for abandoning the original vision, but it had to be done. I'm looking at this project as a first step to realizing further ideals. So, I’m making this a fun, narrative romp through the thriving world of Squall's mind, and the journey he endures.
- Mix's 2005-08-27 22:53:55 Little by little the elements for the mix are starting to accumulate. At the same time, some the score samples are really starting to fall out of favor. This is going to be the longest stage yet of this project. Ho-hum, back to the fray.
- Hoo-Ah! 2005-08-26 05:12:48 What i never thought i'd manage, i've completed. I went back in, did a fevorish re-cut and finally decided on a picture lock. I reworked then entire second act into a form that better suits the piece as a whole and maintains the vision of match cutting and mantage. Now, however, i'm caught in the vicious cycle of piecing together the score and working towards a proper sound mix. the music alone won't leave me feeling sastisfied, and the scoring i'm working on is highly dynamic with a number of movements through-out. And so begins the final battle...
- Never 2005-08-23 05:13:03 Never say quit, and never say die right? This project will continue...
