I really wonder who visits my website. I mean I only get like 1 hit a day, but I still wonder. I know that 5 people still visit Fantasy-Studios.cjb.net and get referred to Existentialism now. I used to be Fantasy Studios before I joined up with Existentialism. Yeah, and about the site updates and junk. I'm waiting for someone to make a new logo to the site (I could try, but I really don't know how). Then I could make the new layout to the site, which would be in tables instead of frames. I want something a little more dynamic for the website. I mean it's our studio's website, and it should be as best as it can be.
Still working on my new video. It should be done sometime this week, if not then definitely early next week. I'm not going to be at home to edit this weekend. The family is planning a trip to Chicago, but I think I would rather stay here and edit. I always edit in the night and the next day I go back and change some of the things that I edited yesterday and edit some more of the video. I think it's because when I see it for the first time new (the day after editing that footage) I look at it from the viewer's perspective. Then I change everything to make everything better. It's like going back and remastering it before releasing it. I don't think I will remaster many of my videos (other than my first one), because in my mind that's the way they should be, even if they do have horrible quality and everything.
I'm getting my Oh, Deliver Me video ready to enter into AWA9 Professional. I don't know what kind of chance it has, but I think it's a pretty good video. I usually don't think of my videos as good, but I think I'll make that exception. I put so much effort into it and everything. I hope that they can accept my video, even though it doesn't have 2 seconds of black footage at the end of the video (my computer really has restraints on what I can do with it). I'll have to e-mail them to see if my MPEG encode is alright. It's a really low resolution, because TMPGEnc doesn't like my original source file's resolution. Oh, well, they'll just have to tell me what to do.
Work has been easy. I have today off, so I'm hoping to get a lot done on my video. I now have $2700 in the bank. Making my computer will cost around $1500, so I'll be down to $1200. But I don't have to worry about a car, because my dad is going to buy one.
I saw Euphoria the other day for the first time. I have to say that it is indeed a good video, but it's not really the best. I mean of course special effects make it look upbeat, but it takes away a lot from the main video. Half of the clips seem to have nothing to do with the song. I'll probably give an official opinion to it one day, but for now it's overall rating is an 8.
I'l probably type in my journal later, so I can update the status of my video and stuff. Anyway, I'll see ya all later. -

Yeah, so going to write in my video journal right after I write in this entry. I've heard from the people who I actually know read my journal that I've been saying that for like the tenth time. Well, I'm going to get all caught up tonight! I've actually done a LOT of work on my video since I wrote in it last. It's like my 15th day of editing this video (not including the time before restarting it).
I really need to get rid of this 2GB of AMVs off the computer. I'm going to try reinstalling the burner in this computer (it just stopped working, so I don't know what happened exactly). If that doesn't work, then my last resort will be to prompt my dad into buying a new one. I might get a 20x Write, since it's fairly cheap and stuff. It'll be faster than this one, so it's still a plus.
My hours at my dad's work will probably be cut back a little this week. I'm going to ask the computer guy there if he needs any help building computers or maintaining the company website. The website layout stinks, so I think that I can improve that. It'll also be really cool to learn something about building computers, especially since I'm going to be building my own this summer.
I like my Yu-Gi-Oh! deck. I need to buy more cards and stuff. Once I perfect my deck, then I'm going to enter into the regionals. Right now I've gotten my deck down to a 43 kick butt deck (I have 25 extra cards). I just like preparing against all the odds, and I really do believe in Fate and the Heart Of The Cards. I know it's a cartoon, but I have to have something to believe in, so it might as well be chance. Like the title of this journal entry was entirely based on chance. I picked out a card from the deck for the title. (I haven't done it when I wrote those sentences).
My brother went home today. He watches porn on the computer all the time. It's sickening. I can't believe that he's going to become a doctor. It's just that he's so lazy and everything. A person like him really shouldn't be a doctor; I know that I would never want him as my doctor. He's also a racist. He doesn't like Muslims or anything, so I'm thinking that that's really going to affect his career.
Okay, now here's some stuff that's just bothering me about AMV creators and their videos. Like I mentioned in an earlier journal entry, only some AMVs can be considered as art. I don't know why people give a shit about who makes Linkin Park AMVs. I mean overused anime and songs are going to come and go. You wouldn't know if there was an amazing Dragonball Z video set to Linkin Park, because no one watches it. I mean you can't just ignore a video, just because it has an overused anime and song in it. It's riduculous to do so. What I'm trying to say is that just because a video is overdone, doesn't mean that the video can be good. People will never know if they like something until they try it out.
Well, I'm going to go to sleep everyone. If I think of anything else, I'll write it!

Been busy for the past couple days....

Oh! I just remembered that I haven't written in my video journal for all the time I've spent on my video. I need to do that right away. I write in it as soon as I finish this journal entry. I may have to backtrack and remember what I did.
I'm about halfway done with my video finally. I want to work on it for like 8 - 10 hours today, since it is my day off. I think I will spend the majority of the time going back and mastering a couple of editing mistakes. I think I'm going to enter it into AWA. I might also enter my Oh, Deliver Me video. I'm not sure which video will go to which contest. I think I will let my friends and studio decide. It'll probably be that Oh, Deliver Me goes to the Professional contest and this new video goes to the Exposition. I've also come up with four ideas for videos that I want to make. Two of them are completely original (except for the anime that I use) and the other two have been done once. I will not look at those videos, until my version of the idea is complete. I'm pretty sure that my idea can blow away any other video with the same song. The only problem is that all four videos require that I need a new computer, because this computer definitely doesn't have the space or the processing power. They will be the pinnacle of my editing existence!
Yeah, so, anyway........
I'm still waiting for my ACT and SAT scores. I know that I improved, but I don't really know by how much. I really hope that I can get a scholarship and everything for college.
I've been talking to Phade about possible majors for myself in college and stuff. My dad wants me to become a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. I'm leaning more towards the Computer Engineeing and Compuiter Science side of the technological field. I'm going to try to help Phade out with the site. He's recommened some books for me and stuff. I want to help out with the org's maintainence and advancement, and I'll be getting a little taste of Computer Science at the same time. I should become an Astrophysicist like my friend. She's awesome; I love her so much, literally. I'm obsessed. Anyway....

My brother is back fro New York for this week. I'm going to try to edit as much as possible with him here. I'll be working all week at my Dad's place, so I won't have a lot of time anyway. I'll have around 4 - 5 hours to edit per night. The video should be done sometime next weekend though. I'm going to edit for about 2 hours right now and maybe another 2 hours after I come back from the grocery store. I'm through the first chorus successfully, except for a few timing problems here and there. I showed it to Phade and this is what he said: "I watched your vid. Perdy good." It gives me some confidence after being bashed. Quality is going to be basically pure.
Yeah, I shouldn't really reveal a whole lot about my video. I tend to keep them secret until I release them. I just want to edit and have fun. I might enter it into AWA Expo. I'm not really sure yet.
I've been updating the site again too. I'm starting the new Artwork page and a new poll for the site. It should be pretty cool. It will be up by the end of the week, if I don't finish it sooner.
We might be getting a big screen TV this week, which means that I might be able to get a CD-burner for this computer.
Yep, my computer will cost me around $1100 to build it myself. That doesn't include case, keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, printer, router, cable modem, surgr protector, etc. That's only the parts for the computer. No wires or anything yet. I'll spend around $1300 - $1500 total. It's not the best computer, but I think it will do me fine.
Anyway, if I think of something else to write, I'll write it sometime this evening. See Ya'll Later!

Not much happening...

Ugh, I forgot to write in my video journal when I did some changes two days ago. I just found out that Phade is going to get the full Golden Donut up next month sometime. I need to donate another $50 or something soon, veen though my studio will get hosting soon.
I worked all night yesterday and have to go back to work in 2 hours. I only got like 4 and half hours of sleep but it's alright. I should be editing this evening. I'm actually sending Phade the preview of my video right now. I really would like to see his opinion.
I downloaded Engel and Believe the other day. I don't think that they are THAT good. They're okay videos. Star rating: 2 for Engel, 3 for Believe.
Yep, time to sweat and everything to earn another $100 for the week.
I'll post a lot more next time, but this is just the small rough cut of what's been happening.
