Finished Website!

I have finally finished my website! It's amazing. My brother thought it was awesome. I had three pages to go, the Converting, Special Effects, and Distributing Guides. I know that ErMaC would say to read the f*cking
manual, but Adobe still has their online help. Everything that I put into the guide is still from the Adobe website, but it's just a faster reference. I still have a couple of tweeks here and there to do, but the bulk of it is done. I think that the only things that I can possibly do now is get my text aligned so it's in the same place for each resolution over 600x800. That shouldn't be too hard. I also have a couple of images to redo and stuff. Now that my website is finished, I can concentrate a lot more on my music videos and downloads. Those things will just flow easily. And I don't have to worry about playing Final Fantasy on the computer, because VIII was probably the last one that there's ever going to be for PC. Well, I better get going, still have to do the rest of my website! Bye!

Mail, mail, and more mail!

Well, lately I've been getting a LOT of mail from colleges and univerisities. I never really got any mail before this week, so I started to get a little curious about how I was getting all of this mail. I found out my test scores for the PLAN test, the practice ACT. My composite score was in the 97 percentile. I was astounded that I did so well. Then on one of the letters from a weird college, it said that they obtained all the information from the ACT. That's when I figured it out. I went to tell my parents, and they said that you shouldn't be getting mail from colleges. You don't read at all. My parents wouldn't let me talk at all, so I stormed out of there. I looked at my scores again, and it said that I scored in the 92 percentile for just reading. I did amazing on reading. It's like one of the highest scores that I've ever gotten. I did notice that I scored a 68 percentile for rhetorical skills, but I don't really know what rhetorical skills are. I did so well on the reading part, and I still get yelled at. There were my scores on the PLAN test.
English - Usage/Mechanics - 95 percentile
English - Rhetorical Skills - 68 percentile
Mathematics - Pre-Algebra/Algebra - 99 percentile
Mathematics - Geometry - 97 percentile
Reading - 89 percentile
Science Reasoning - 92 percentile
Composite (Average) Score - 97 percentile
All in all, I think I did amazing. I should be yelled at, I should be congratulated. But no one gives about me...

Thursday Feels Like Friday

Well, from the title of this journal entry, I bet you can tell that I think that today really felt like Friday. My history teacher came back, so I guess I was happy. It was good to see him laugh, because I kept making fun of him. The rest of the school day was normal as usual. I had to stay after school for a Physics lab. Our teacher said that a lot of groups before burnt out their fuses in the power supply; we were no exception. I came back home and started to work on my website after a while. I have to redo one of the pages I think. I'm not too sure. I think it'll be okay though. It's probably the About Me page. It can't take more than 10 - 15 minutes, plus the time it'll take for the images. I can do the coding tomorrow in class. I got a lot of work done on my Final Fantasy VIII music video done today. I have about 31 usable clips, but I still have to go through the final disc. I have around 15 clips that I still need to convert to .AVI format. It should only take about 3 - 4 hours. I also reviewed a friend's music video. He needs a little help. It looked more like a trailer than a music video. Oh, I do want to advertise something on here. It's my RPG on DalNet on mIRC. The channel is called #FFRPG. It's a Final Fantasy RPG, and it's fairly new. We have about 7 players with about 10 - 15 characters. We would like some more players, who have some experience, so please come to the channel some time to check it out.

Wicked Wednesday!

Well, today (It's still Wednesday here.) wasn't really wicked, I justed wanted something that started with W, because Wednesday starts with W. Not much new things happened today, but when I woke up this morning, I checked yesterday's mail and found two peices of mail for me. I haven't gotten mail in like 3 - 4 years, so I was kind of excited. They were from two private colleges around the midwest. I don't know why I got any of it, because I'm just a Sophmore in high school. I thought that you weren't supposed to get any of that stuff until like Senior year. I didn't really care too much for them, because they are private colleges. Surprisingly, my history teacher was out again today. He hasn't been in school for about 3 school days now. I know that the first one was intentional, because he told us about it. He was out on Tuesday, yesterday, because his father died. He was out today, too, because he had another family emergency. It's sad really. He left a movie for us to watch, but that was utterly surprising, because he said that we would never watch a movie in his class. I actually missed his stories for history, because they are so much fun to listen to. He's actually one of the best teachers I've ever had. In web design class, I made a bet with my friend. I bet that if I don't finish my website by Monday, I would help him with his assignments. If I do finish my website by Monday, then he has to pay $2 to me. I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to finish it by Monday. I only have about 4 pages left to go, so that isn't too big of a trouble. The hard part is having all of my videos uploaded in MPEG. That will take about 30 hours of work there, because I'm on a 56K modem. I desperately need a cable modem. I think my website will rock though. I actually based a lot of it off of Hakura's website. She lent me some of her code. I've only had about 1 meal in about 2 full days. I'm okay with it, because I'm trying to lose some weight, before summer. My Final Fantasy VIII music video is coming along slowly. It takes forever to convert the Bink videos from the CD to my computer, but I should be done with all of the converting by the end of this weekend. Wow, well, I didn't think I would write for so much tonight. I guess it's really improving my English writing skills. I just wish that it would improve my skills for actual reading comprehension. Well, I'm off everyone.

Monday Off

Well, George W. Bush and the other ex-presidents are good for something at least. They all gave us, students a day off from school. I woke up at about 1PM. I immediately came on the computer, checked my online stats (this site, e-mails, etc.). After that, I started working on my Final Fantasy VIII music video. I was surprised to see that the FMVs in the game are a lot slower than normal video. It's only 15 frames per second, while most is 30 frames per second. I did a bunch of tests to make sure that the video was correct. I found out that 15 frames per second was right, because I made it 30 frames per second, and the FMV ended up going extremely fast. I've just finished converting a bunch of FMVs from Disc One. Disc Two will be tomorrow. I also got some work done on my website. I think that I've finished the bulk of the it that most people will go through. I have some easy things to accomplish, such as links, contact, and the about me page. Some of the more difficult things are left too, such as guides. I'll be putting basic guides for Adobe Premiere. These are very basic, meaning that you can even do them in VirtualDub. I'm not going to get into trouble by re-writing the manual. It'll also have some guides on special effects, converting, and distribution. Maybe once, I'm finished with them, I can get Phade to put them up on the website. We'll see what happens. I also took a nice, long bath this evening. It was perfect and so relaxing. I haven't taken a bath in years, because I've been taking showers for a long time. I'm thinking of taking a weekly bath just to clense my body. Well, since it's getting late, I'd best be off.
