I'm just bored and have nothing else to do so I'm writting in my digital online journal. Lets see, what have I done that is worth mentioning.
O.k. Got something. I haven't been working on my AMVs very much anymore (Come on, I've made 20 (Not all good ones though)) and my current one needs subs removed and that is just tedious. Even more so since I have to do it in private since I really don't my parents to see some of the scenes regardless of me being old enough to have them now. SO, I've been making banners for amv.org. And I have to say I've made an ass load. 26 banners actually (wow. I didn't eve think it was that much, lol.) Please vote worthy......PPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE.
I have also signed up my lazy ass partner of Accession Studios, Neo Mystic, onto the org. The thing is he still has to be the one to activate his account. He claimed he wanted to make AMVs, but he has really put no effort into it, so I don't know. I might have to trash Accession. I mean whats a studio with only one person.
O.k. I think I might go start on a AMV for the time where I can't remove subs from my latest creation. Dread Blitz. Song: Blitzgrief. Artist: Metallica. Anime: Vandread & Vandread 2nd Stage.

*Good. They're gone. - School work 2002-10-06 21:58:30 I HATE school. It is one of the biggest pain in the butts ever. Its not really that hard so its more like busy work to me. Keeps me away from anime, lol. Anyways. My district has grad standards. If you don't know what they are (chances are you don't being we are one of the few districts that actually have them(I think)). They basicly are projects you must do for a class. If you don't do it, you fail the class. If you don't have all the standards you need, you don't graduate. Pain in the ass, right? The latest grad standard is a research paper on a hobby. Take one little guess what mine is. Yep. My hobby report will be on anime music videos. Still going to be a major pain though. I can't use my own knowlege. It has to come from a source, such as the guides here at amv.org. I can't use myself because I'm not an "expert" on the subject. I may not know as much ar people like Phade or ErMaC, but I would think I would know enough to add my opinions to the paper, but its not allowed.

DVD Ripping

I've always had problem with trying to rip DVDs. At fist I could rip the VOB files and they would play just fine, but I could never seem to find a way to encode them so I could use them in Premeire. I followed ErMaC's Guide to all things video a week ago and now the VOBs I rip won't play at all,. so that kinda throws the idea of encoding them in the trash. I really should just bug my friend to get the LAN working again so I can download my anime off the internet again and not bother with all this trouble.
Oh. And I AM computer literate. I know what I'm doing so don't look at me like I'm an idiot. - Got a capture card 2002-10-06 16:55:59 I just bought a ATI TV Wonder VE video capture card from Best Buy (Probably should have looked on net first). Anyways. The damn thing cost me 50 bucks and its been a pain is the ass. When I capture, it supposily lets me do it the different codec I have installed, but ANY AVI capture I do ends up in the Angel Potion codec unless I select the defualt capture which made a 1 hr 30 min 320 x 240 video 22.2 Gb (I think its was the delfault cpature). It can capture in MPG too. After I capture I still end up with a problem. The MPG files don't like to play (And their 1.5GB)and the AVIs won't open for editing in Premeire. Not looking on the net for a better card was a HUGE mistake. If I can't solve these problems, I just might have to go out and get a different capture card.
- Downloads. 2002-09-29 21:54:40 It sucks I'm on a 56k right now, but I'll soon have broadband again. You see, I'm on a LAN with my friend and a lightning bolt fried both out NICs, the switch, and router and neither of use has the cash to replace the router and switch, the NICs have been replaced. But, we should be getting a new router soon so that people will be able to download my AMVs off WinMX or can contact be via AIM and get them sent. I'll put up a new journal when I get broadband done, so don't go requesting AMVs yet.
