JOURNAL: My_Nemesis

  • New videos in the works 2002-10-27 20:26:37 I have redone my old "Eva in Danger" AMV so it now looks and sounds much

much better. I also have subs to take out of two of my new AMVs before

they are technicly done. One would be the "I can't belive I did this" AMV

and the other is "Dread Blitz." The AMV I am currently working on I will

call "I can't belive I made another." Thats a good title. I hope I can

remember it when I finish the AMV. It is going to use asorted hentai

anime to the Lord of Acid song Rover Take Over. I need some footage. That

means hentai's that have a lot of "doggy style" in them. Oh god. Maybe I

shouldn't have said that. Oh well. I really have no idea how this AMV

will come out or what the hell I'm going to do to make it. Beyond this

one is all the remakes I have to do. I think that sums it up for now.
  • Blah 2002-10-21 19:56:31 I'm bored so I'm writting. Lets see. I'm still having codec problems. The

new End of Evangelion I downloaded, yes. I used downloaded anime and not

all of it is shit for quality. Matter of fact the anime Full Metal Panic,

which has just been licensed for the U.S., looks to be damn near DVD

quality stuff. Anyways. EoE use to work in Premiere, but now doesn't. I'm

encoding it differently as I write this just so I can maybe use the damn

    footage.

I've made another AMV, took one day for the basics. I still have subs to

remove. I really need to get the subs removed from my "I can't belive I

did this" AMV too. I can tell now. The final quality of that AMV is not

going to be good thanks to my shitty encoding job. I export the movie in

something like DivX then import it and cut it apart for the sub scenes

which are then exported as DivX. After I get the subs removed and then

put back in the best I can do is export as Huffyuv (Did I get that

right?) and then encode to MPEG1. To much re-encoding, I wish I had known

better when I started that AMV. But what can I say. I've made a lot of

AMVs and I'm still learning stuff.
  • WinMX 2002-10-19 14:19:41 I've noticed a lot of my AMVs are being downloaded via WinMX P2P program.

The thing is the movies that are being downloaded are the My Nemesis ones

and no any of the Accession Studio ones. If you use WinMX and are going

to download my AMVs look for My Nemesis and Accession Studios. I also

noticed that none of my AMVs that are WMV encoded are being downloaded

either. I think that is because WinMX doesn't know that WMVs are a movie

file type. To get those old AMVs I think you have to search for "any file

type". If this journal doesn't help at all I'm just going to change the

file names to say My Nemesis instead of Accession Studios.
  • Codec Problems 2002-10-18 22:44:13 I have so many problems on my computer right now its not even funny. The

first problem is my Evangelion moives on my comp are encoded in DIVXMPEG4

V3. I think that is DivX 3.1. Well, the sound for those movies won't play

and Premeire can't open them so I can't do my remakes of my old movies if

    I can't get the footage.

I would rip them from the DVDs my friend has but my comp has some stange

ass thing going on where it never keeps the region code I tell it it

should be. I don't know if thats the problem I have with ripping or not,

but all the rips I do don't make working VOBs.

Another problem is DivX 4 somehow replaced my DivX 5 and those two can't

co-exist on the same machine, or so I have heard. The thing is I can't

find DivX 4 to delete it.

My solution is to completly erase my hard drive. Fourntantly I have a

second hard drive to back everything up on. But, its now down to 11 Gb

out of 120 Gb. My 80 Gb has about 30 Gb left, but since its the one to

    erased, that doens't matter.

If all that doesn't work my last attempt will to be to get a job and save

up an ass load of money for a new compter. I designed a very nice

computer at Alienware, but the price was a little steep. $10,000+.
  • New movie 2002-10-17 21:41:04 I have completed my new AMV and have added it to my ongoing list of AMVs. It took me four days. Considering how long some people say theirs take it makes me think I'm missing something, but everything seems to be fine with this AMV. No server to put it on yet, so I still have that little problem. The best you can do is use WinMX to get my movies right now.
