- Messing around. 2003-08-08 21:56:11 I'm sitting here at my computer bored. Been thinking of messing around with Linux, so I do. Rather than actually installing it tho. I'm running Knoppix. It just runs off the CD. Course there are disadvantages to doing it this way, but oh well. I'm actually likeing it so far. I would load it up more often if I could just get it to install gaim. But no go. It keeps asking for a password. Off to play with Linux some more.

Well. This kinda sux. I found out that LazyGenious now has made it so you have to register and log in before your allowed to download a video. The whole reason I put some of my AMVs up there instead if ImageStation was because you didn't need to register to download the video. Seriously. They advertise free hosting here and they expect us not to use it as just a video host. They want it to be "for the arts."
Guess its back to ImageStation. They at least allow me 40 Mb rather than LazyGenious's 25 Mb. And even though ImageStation ONLY allows MPG, I can get around that by just changing the file extension.
I could use the carrot, but I don't want to be a total leech and put my stuff up before I've donated anything.

Other news. My AniMix Project tracks are done. Have I said that before? They actually took more time than I expected them too. Course I procrasinated like I always do. I've also started a new AMV. And I might go back to an old one I was working on before I reformated my hard drive. - Long Time 2003-04-20 19:28:35 I haven't said anything in here for a long time. Well. I got into the AniMix project. Got tracks 62 and 63. Done with 63, still need to finish 62.

Interesting Day

School was interesting today. I know people hate Mondays, but hate it enought to attempt suicide? There was a suicide attempt in my school today. Well, least most of the populas thinks it was a suiced attempt. I'm not sure of everything, but heres what I got. My school has two floors and balaconies are here and there so you can see down. The suicide kid apparently ran at the banister and jump off it supermaning all the way down to the first floor. OUCH!!!! I'm not sure of the hieght, but it had to have been a good 15-20 feet.
I was going to second hour when I saw a big crowd and my thought was "Oh, another fight". So I looked down from the second floor and saw the kid laying on the ground.
The school is saying it was an accident, but those banisters are way to high to just fall over. They come to my chest so they are at least 4 ft tall. Plus the kid wasn't near where he should have been if he had just fallen. He was a ways away from the balcony. He jumped, no doubt about it. - Running again 2003-02-24 20:35:25 I am a very lucky person. Yes I am. My friend had to reformat a few days before me and asked me for the AMVs I had. So I put a bunch of AMVws on his hard drive and as kind of a joke I put my AMVs on there as well. I thought he would delte them, but as I said. I am lucky. He still had all my AMVs. So I now have them back. Course I still lost my project files, but oh well.
