Ok, I went to media play last night out of boredom, and due to high prices and shitty selection, I decided I'd never visit them again (at least not for christmas shopping) - I checked for 3 bands, pretty much of the same veneire (sp) - Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, and Demons and Wizards..They scored 2 for 3. Not too bad. But at a $17 price tag for both Blind Guardian and Iced Earth, no thanks. They're worth it, and If I didn't ask for ONLY blind guardian CD's for christmas, I'd probably have finally broken and bought one or 2. Moving on, We headed up to Best Buy, and SCORE, they had 2 copys of Demons & Wizards!! So I picked one up for 12 bucks, and the CD is fucking AWESOME!
On now, to why you care. Blind Guardian has been one of my favorite bands sence an ex-friend of mine introduced me to them. They're a German band specializing mainly in Fantasy metal. Sound interesting? Anyone should recognise something in the title of one of their First CDs entitled "Nightfall on Middle Earth" - *ahem*

Unfortunately they're realitively unknown in the US, because they're a German Band. - 2001-12-01 14:25:51 Yah, so um...lets see, I've been pretty busy lately with work/school so I havent had much time as far as hobbies go, But I DID manage to completely finish Lord of the Rings - thank you christ. I kept thinking "This is it, the last time I'll have to export" . Right. Until I find one or 2 out of place frames. Oh well, it's going back up as soon as it's done downloading, and hopefully, *AHEM* Everyone will leave me an opinion who downloads it, because overall, despite what *SOME* people believe, I put everything I had into this trailer. It's good. Damn good, if I do say so myself. But I'll let you be the judge of that. It'll be up til at least 12/19 (WOOO 19 DAYS TIL LOTR!!)

I enjoy being online. Thats what. I spent all day..ALL DAMN DAY working my ass off to finish the Lord Of the Ballz Trailer, but its FINALLY done. Now, I just have to render it. Thanks to Virtual Dub, all the horrible clicking from the original has now been corrected, which means I had to re-align the sound (Which, believe it or not, was more than just drag and drop) Anyway, There's one or 2 things that seem a bit interlaced, but it's all good. It's not terribly obvious.
I've been listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack all day long, and I must say, there's some pretty beautiful music (comes at a time I've gotten heavily into Enya, Enigma, Lorenna McKennit etc) .. It's just nice, slow, and relaxing. I'm looking forward to the soundtrack - however, the only thing thats going to bother me is not buying the movie on DVD when it comes out (Think about it, it's a triliogy - by 2004, they'll release the "Special Collectors Edition" and I plan on not wasting my money until then.
I'm a good way through The Fellowship of The Ring, it's getting mildly booring, I'm sure it'll pick up soon. It's tough reading for the first 11 or so pages, then gets really good, then trails off. Oh well. I think I'm done now. - 2001-11-27 15:44:01 Oh, yah, why is it you only think of things to add to an entry AFTER you've clicked "enter"? - Did anyone catch that aweful aweful transformers show today? lol - It was that or the wild thornberries as my video rendered - anyway, When Megatron threatened earth by blowing up a dam (go figure. how creative.) They switched over to a group of people, and one of those people was Cowboy Bebops own Spike. I'm not kidding. Blue trousers/blazer, yellow shirt, half open, funky hair...I was like, OMG ITS SPIKE! HAAHAHAHA...*ahem* ok...anyway, it really WASNT spike, but Im SURE they copied the image.
