Progress made in the days with nothing to do!

This is so true. I have nothing to do today until 10pm when I go play hockey and I'm feeling good. I forced myself to do some work on my Anime North video I've been working on on and off the past few months now. I'm really happy with it. I threw down a lot of new video editing and special effects to it, and surprisingly, I really dont think it looks too overboard. While some of it's really suttle, a lot of it is right there to see. I'll release it to close friends when it's done for perhaps a BIT of tweaking, but it'll be in 2 contests at least, and depending on how it does for those, I may enter more.
Oh, and again, it's not Eva and it's not DBZ ;-) - so far I've got about 4 minuites of straight video done (5 minuite and 10 second song) and the ending is rock solid. I've got about 20 seconds more of footage to drop down and go from and something to add into one of the scenes, but all in all, it's almost done! I remember when I started this. Seems so long ago. -

Thank God for music. I couldn't function without it, I've realised that now. Thank you, no matter who you are (as long as your a creator) or what your "status" is on this website for making videos. Thank you Phade, for this site. Thank you, music artists, for making music. Thank you, Anime artists, for making anime.

yah, i'm aware my spelling is horrible, but I dont care. I finished Trigun last night, and I must say, I was pretty disgusted with the ending. Well, maybe I'm looking for ... disappointed. The fight between Vash and Knives was just kinda, blah. Great series besides that though, probably going to pick up the box set.
Got an email Addy and a list set up for the Blind Eva project, this should be a blast.
I think it's time I closed a few chapters in my life too. -

Well, My Elvenking cd is on its way (SWEET!!!) but I'm not done there. I wanna buy a Cd on faith. The thing is, I've gotten 2 clips of songs and one partial song (the band name is Freternia; if you've heard of them, please let me know!) that I really dig. The problem is I cant really decide if I wanna spend the money and find out that these guys suck. (For one thing, I'd be paying in Euro money, because sweden is the only place the cd is currently avalible. Thank god for the interent, no?
*Sigh* - We'll see. heh. For anyone who's looking for a new kind of sound, speaking of music, May I be so bold to suggest Elvenking? If you wanna know what their capable of, download The Regality Dance. It's the most diverse song they've got and it basically covers everything they can do, from folk sounding, to rock, to progressive and back again. It's really good stuff.
Not much is gonna get accomplished today, I've got about 3 projects to code in VB (about a 4 hour slot gone) - A bunch of stuff to read up on Christianity for Philosiphy in Religion, 5 chapters to read for Lan Administration (*yawn*) and something else that I can't remember right now. Weeee!
