Saw spider-man tonight, and let me just say that it was a damn good movie. I've always liked Spiderman more than any other comic book hero because he's just .. ordinary. None of this Bruce Wayne multi-million dollar bullshit.
Spiderman rocked my world when I was into comic books. ANYWAY, the movie stayed pretty true to the book.
My biggest disappointments: MJ Dating Flash? Please. Where's Felicia? MJ Getting thrown off the bridge? Please again. Where's Gwen?! Come on, Gwen even DIED. The Green Goblins mask: Ok, the eyes were cool, but good christ. It looked like a bad power rangers costume. No purple smurf hat, which REALLY sucked. Peter letting the burgler die. (I mean christ. a CAR Jacking? *sigh*.)
My Biggest Pros: The fact that they didn't use webshooters - It was a cooler twist having Peter be able to fling the webbing himself. The Spiderman Costume: Fucking AWESOME work job. The Wrestling match - Again, some really good work there, funny stuff. Glad they kept Peter Parker quiet and reserved and gave Spiderman a good sence of humor and quick witted. MJ calling peter 'Tiger'. Glad they got it in. The webswinging segments were just outstanding while being simple.
Good stuff, want to go see it again. -

I guess some of you have been wondering where I've been or what I've been up to, because I'm not around much here, and havent posted a REAL journal entry in a WHILE. However, I can only guess, because I havent recieved any email saying "hey, nailz, where've you been?" ...SO, here it is. Like you care. ^^
Work and School. I'm in my second last semester, and I'm getting a certificate in LAN administration, I guess it's considered right above a network+ for anyone interested, anyway, it's been pretty much HELL with final projects and all. Fortunately, it's mostly winding down in the last 2 weeks (wow, thats actually a shock.) and Next Semester I've got 3 blow off classes. (I have to take a class on office. ROTFLMAO) So thats good.
Work sucks, as always, people are fucking stupid, this includes any of you who are reading this from a Sony Viao, or looking at it with a Sony Monitor. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND SO DO I!
Ugh. Another thing been taking up my time has been the NHL playoffs. When the games are on, I disappear from the face of the earth until they're over. This doesn't really subside until sometime in Late June.
So, other than that, I got my Freternia CD in the mail after about 6 weeks of waiting from cdzone.co.uk - fortunately, they are nice guys and corrected their mistake before I had to bitch. Hosting a Freternia song on my website, they're awesome. Good buy for anyone into true metal.
Entered my newest video into Niagra County Community College for competition, and well, lets just say it didn't go over well. They couldn't show all the videos in 4 hours, so they were all random. 8 music videos overall, and 5 were shown. Oddly, NEITHER of the Anime Music Videos that were entered were shown. Really blows. Talked to the judges afterwards who said (and I quote) "We couldn't tell if or how you manipulated your cartoons, so we couldn't judge them well." - I wonder if they'd change their mind when they saw my 6 video track timeline.
So who won that contest? Some dude who filmed his sink dripping. Yep, he won like $400, and 4 prizes. pisses me off. Going to do a rant about it. Should be fun. Oh well, I still have anime north. When I finally get it premiered there, I'll have it up (somewhere) for download. Stay tuned guys! IM NOT DEAD! - Go leafs go! 2002-05-01 00:18:55 I hate the maple leafs. I hate them more for beating the islanders. I hate them MORE for making me root for them in the second round.

Playoff hockey continues tonight in 2 HUGE games. Should be exellent, too bad I have to F***in work. I hate working Game 7s. Looks like I'll be taking a heckload of Break to watch the game. Oh well, no biggie.
Not much new going on, working on a lord of the rings slot machine for my visual basic class. should be kind of interesting. hope the site comes back in top notch soon! :(
I'm not wearing any hockey stuff today, because yesterday, the isles won without me wearing anything hockey related, and if you know anything about hockey, you KNOW you have to be extreemly superstitious in order to appease the hockey Gods. *bows to the hockey gods.*
