Figured it's been a while sence I made a real post relating to anything I've been working on reguarding amvs or music videos in general, so what the hell, here goes.
First and formost, I've got this Nightwish video nailed down pretty good. I'm extreemly happy with it and the way its going. I've got the final 4 minuites and 47 seconds done already (It's a 7 minuite video, and I dont have enough song to go with all the footage I want to use.) I remember when I started it and swore it was going to be an Asuka tribute, showing how strong she showed herself to be, but how weak she was underneath. Sort of a tribute to myself. Everything was going great until shinji started making more than a cameo appearance.
Well, ok, I can play off of that and rework the video, and oo look, this concept works better with whats going on in my head anyway! .. Everything is going great, got the end of the video finished, going back and working a couple of key parts of the song..

GODDAMN IT, THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN ASUKA TRIBUTE!
Either way, I'm really really happy with the way this is turning out. It's a very personal video, so much so I'm almost reluctant to release it to the public. Fortunately, I dont believe people will understand most of the concepts, even though they all seem very straight forward to me, but then, I'm making it. More on it as it's released, only have about a minuite and a half to go, and it's pretty much smooth sailing. there's really nothing special about this video as far as effects and stuff go.
Aside from that, I'm going to start working on And Then There Was Eva when I'm done with this video, as well as my Angelic Layer video to Seasonspeech by Elvenking, both at once. *sigh*... And Then There Was Eva was intended to be a seperate entity from Eva and the song, as most of my videos are, but I decided to try to recreate the story of the Trojan war with Evangelion footage. Oy, this is going to take some planning and about 3 bottles of tylonal. weee....
After that, I've got a Lain video planned, but it's too soon to go into details.

Checked my bank account balance today, 79 dollars. Hmm, thats about 550 bucks less than I thought I had. How interesting. Lesse, what goes on here?

Oh, that 480 dollar charge would knock it down a bit. ..and that 50 dollar charge. Yep, thats about right. Now, where did all that money go, I wonder. Certianly the Fight Club wasn't fifty dollars, and I KNOW the 5 cd mailers I bought from Tops didn't cost $480.

Oh, really? You don't say? An online casino? Did I win anything? Hmm.. No, no thats definitely not me, I promptly hit Alt f4 on those annoying pop up windows, give me back my money.
So yah, someone stole my debit card number and thought it'd be fun to gamble my car payment and insurance money away. It's a shame they didn't win anything with it and add to my account, but I guess thats how it works.
Fun day. - Finally. 2002-07-23 20:38:29 Finally found the perfect song to do a Lain video to. Should be really really cool if I can pull it off right, but it'll have to wait. Already got big plans for And then There Was Eva (the 14 minuite vid) and promised Elvenking I'd do a video to Season Speech. If I'm lucky, I'll be done with all 3 videos within a year. *_* (Don't forget the Nightwish video I'm working on now.)

Ahh, home, and not a day too soon. Videos (that I have hosted, anyway) are back online and ready again to be downloaded. Huzzah.
I hate being with family for extended periods of time. Yech.
