JOURNAL: Isenfolme

  • For Dax 2006-05-18 09:12:38 You may have found this gem before, but if not, this is for the JJ's biggest Trek fangirl. Just for you.

    Beam on down, baby!

  • Back to work... 2006-05-12 16:47:15 Well, having taken a week off to do various thesis related activities, I reckons it's time to get back to some serious editing. I've got some great feedback from folk who've watched my beta (thanks guys!), and I'm planning to put it into action tonight. Accordingly I have assembled some essential supplies - sour cream and chive pringles, some chocolate, and of course... beer. Let the editing begin!

And a big hello to all the Journal Junkies out there!
  • Judge 2006-05-03 18:29:09 Thanks! :D You too have a pm now. *g*

Gravity - Yup, turns out folk not only read other peoples' journals, but actually reply to them in their own! Don't worry about not being technically savvy enough to make an amv. Trust me when I say I'm the least tech-headed person out there, and Absolute Destiny and Ermac's how-to guide was idiot proof enough to allow even me to put an amv together. Give it a shot! What's the worst that can happen?
  • Permit / License 2006-05-03 17:18:19 So a permit is like a provisional driving license? We just call 'em provisional driving licenses... *g*

But that's good to know. I had a weird moment imagining that 'permit' was actually American for 'license'. Which was fine until I realised that would mean the Stateside James Bond would have a Permit to Kill, which kind of loses all its macho impact... ;)
  • Rina 2006-05-03 17:06:46 Woah, hold on. So you've got a license to drive in New York? Don't you need a special course to be able to do that? Like the ability to shout down huge taxi drivers without breaking a sweat?

Of course, it may be that I've just been watching too much TV again...
