This is in case you've been somehow tricked into coming here and reading this.
I've been around watching AMV's since around 1997, maybe earlier. My first were from MDenny (or Hawaii, or whatever he's using now), I went off and made a DBZ video (a sort of original one for the time) and read the AMV mailing list obsessively.
Of course, I had no source for footage, and a horrible computer at home, so I've stayed out of the community from around 2000 until last month when I found this site again and realized just how huge it has become (I couldn't even hardly remember signing up for membership... but apparently I did it fairly early one, from my sign-up number.
maybe if I had DSL I could be a more active part of the community... as it is, I can't exactly download every new video that comes out.
