35 minutes until I need to be at work. And it's raining. Bummer.
Not that rain isn't cool, I just don't like it when I'm working. You gotta trust me, sunday + rain + video store = Complete chaos. Yesterday it was insanely busy as everyone risked certain death in the rain to rent a dozen movies and some popcorn while screaming random shit at their kids and elbowing everyone out of the way as they drive their SUV's back to hole up for the weekend.
Supposedly on a sunday people wouldn't be renting as many movies... because you know, they work during the week and why not rent them at the start of the weekend? But such logic is useless when faced with these hordes.
Besides, we have an outside drop box for movies, and in the process of bringing them back into the building all the movies are going to get wet, and I get tired of drying them off on my shirt damnit. -

It's 1:30 am here... and I'm just about to get dressed and head out to the Gym.
I spent the first 20 years of my life living the typical nerd life, you know, letting my muscles atrophy while I eat donuts. The extent of my cooking were really good chocolate milk shakes. Then a month ago I turn around and decide to live healthy.
That's how I am, years and years of deliberation, and then all-or-nothing massive change. Give me a year and I'll be a nerd who randomly beats the shit out of his friends with the newfound muscles that I've been missing out on all my life.
That said though, I probably should have left for the Gym closer to midnight, now I probably won't get home until 3:30 or later.
Oh, and I do cook now. Fairly complex meals, and with a degree of talent actually. -

[FLASHBACK TIME]
So it's October 20th 2002, I've just gone over to Beth's house, who I started dating just two days before. I'm really happy, and she says:
"Oh yeah... there is something I forgot to ever tell you before."
"Uhhh... okay. What?"
(She's a lesbian, an alien, a mormon... who knows what)
"In 4 months I'm going to be studying abroad in Australia, and I'll be there for over 9 months."
Yeah, so whatever, I was cool enough with that. Nevermind that my girlfriends always seem to live in another state, or are about to move to another state, or something like that. Just that morning I had been bragging to my parents that I finally found a girl who lives in town. Of course we end up falling crazy in love, and now my girl is in GODDAMN DOWN UNDER!
At least, she has been for about 2 months now. I'm going to go visit her in July.
meanwhile I'll wait and be faithful to her like a good little boy... except that isn't much of a challenge because finding a girlfriend has never been easy for me, so hey, why not get credit for it anyway? -

Is it even worth it going to work for just 3 hours? At least I live close to my work, otherwise I might be pretty pissed about a 5-8 shift.
Still that's done with now, and still I have no further process on my editing, and there probably won't be any more tonight because I'm going to a friend's to show her some anime in a bit.
And for tomorrow? Who knows, maybe I'll get out to the theater (hopefully), and I should try and get some editing done. I mean seriously, I must be able to find more time to work on this in a given day. -

This sucks. I didn't go to sleep until 2:30 last night, so I figured I would sleep until 11 and get a good night's sleep. I set two alarms 10 minutes apart since I have things to do and I don't want to get crazy with how much sleep I allow my body after all.... but low and behold, I sleep through both alarms, indeed I cannot even remember turning them off, and didn't wake up until 1:30 pm... which sucks.
What a damn waste, and I'm working at 5, which means limited time to do what I need to do. Besides it throws my entire eating schedule off track, I don't even know how I'm going to fit in a proper amount of food today.
I need better alarms. Or more alarms. I don't know.
