Just this last hour my first banner got 150 votes and was kicked out of the ranking. Out of spite I went to "My Worthy" choices determined to deem the one banner still in there as unworthy.
After 30 seconds of staring though, my spite really wasn't enough to get the better of me, and I really do appreciate the skill that went into that banner. I really wasn't that mad about my banner, I feel that I can do better, and I really didn't spend very long at it.
I'll have to redouble my efforts this next week. -

Bullet Proof Monk is USELESS! A completely useless movie!
The editing alone... I haven't seen worse since that unfortunate night I went to Ballistik.
DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE! (unless you liked Ballistik at least).
Just go rent Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and watch that instead. I'm going to have to watch that movie tomorrow just to forget this one.
I don't really regret going though, I mean the movie was free, and I saw some old theater friends going to the same showing, so that was cool. But seriously, you will hate yourself if you spend any money on this. -

Back in 1996 I never would have guessed that my 4 gig hard drive could ever be completely filled up... but I sure learned that the hard way.
2001 I figured my laptop's 15 gig hard drive, although not ideal was at least enough to come close to holding most of what I wanted. WRONG AGAIN.
This is what I'm thinking right now: Who the HELL could have guessed that a 80 damn Gigabyte HD wouldn't be enough for me?!
I am currently keeping it a secret from my relatively less computer literate family that we are nearly out of hard drive space because they would freak out. I don't want them to know that my personal folder alone has 47 gigs in it.... so whatever you do don't tell them!
This is what happens when I decide to take a break in the middle of one video, and decide to start another... without deleting the first video's VOB files (because they take too damn long to rip, and I would have to rent them again, and I'm a lazy little shit). -

Spring Break!
I can actually work on some editing instead of essays now. Very cool.
Uploaded my first attempt at a banner ad today, spent about 30 minutes on the thing and it isn't half bad really... I've never exactly gotten the hang of working with only 60 pixels of vertical space though. It would be cool if it made it through the voting process, but it's not like I'm married to this one, I'm sure that once some inspiration hits me I can make something better anyway.
I have tonight off, but since friends never seem to be home, or awake, or free, I'll probably just spend it sitting at home in front of the computer.
Hmmm... I should eat something. -

It is always the same story with me. I have less than an hour to finish up an essay that is to put it nicely, not very polished, before going to the Gym tonight and then returning home way too late so that I can wake up late for class again tomorrow like always.
Which I'm sure the girl who gets rides from me appreciates.
After this I have only two more essays left for this semester, although one of them is very massive.
Still, I'm energized about it all anyway. I was just at film class tonight and got back my essay, you know the one that I only had a few hours to complete last week and I wrote like shit because I didn't know the topic very well (montage film theory). Well it got returned with a big fat A+, which seems cool since my teacher was going off earlier on how she grades really hard, and if we get a B then we should be happy because that's really good for her.
Well either I did a really good job (at least she thinks so), or she was just acting tough and it's all bullshit. Probably a combination of both.
