The curtain call and the next two months

Well its been awhile since the last update but this is really important stuff.
I got accepted into Vancouver Film School, which means in 2 months I will be moving to Vancouver. Which means alot of other things, I may not be able to go to Animethon for the full show if anything I will only attend for the AMV contest and if at all possible for the AMV panel.
Most importantly with this cross roads in my life I may have to give up AMV making. This has nothing to do with anyone for any reason, its these days which I know when I am going to VFS most if not all of my time will be put into school. I guess the hard thing about it all is making the final AMV/s depending how productive I can be for the next 2 months. I will wait till the right time before the final stuff. I will still be around but if its anything its only checking opinions, star ratings or whatever is going on in the forums. I will wait till the right time for the final stuff or who knows. Not even me right now I got too much stuff on my mind. VFS, work, moving, then toppled on making a last AMV. Even though I would be satisfied if I left "The Lonely Road Of Life" as my final AMV. Who knows I suppose, anything can happen in the next two months -

I have started work on a new AMV out of the blue, on a sugar rush I decided to wing it. Usually the best way to do things sometimes. I got alot done tonight, more than I thought I would I hope my run of luck keeps going for the next while I would like to see this AMV come to life and be finished. It would make a nice equalizer for the set I plan on sending to Animethon 12. I want to send 1 drama, 1 comedy, and 1 action. The comedy is going to be "The Drinking Problem" however the other two are not done yet. The one I am working on will be a drama video that will have some action but I dont want it to be a vocal point. I am using an anime very near and dear for me, well two anime movies. Part 1 and 2 of an anime that got me into well....anime. I want to keep it a secret till I finish it. Hopefully it will kill the losing streak I have been getting these days with videos that have had bad star ratings (even though I think Beyond The Sky is a good video).
The action one however will be something I might get alot of heat for but I honestly don't care (it involves DBZ). Its an idea I have had for years that I have waited for the right time to do. Its a Brolly video but I wanted to wait till both movies were out before I would attempt it. I dont really care if I get heat for it, its a video I know I got to do despite and if I can pull it off it will be a very different Brolly AMV from the rest (that I have seen at least).
Nothing else I guess to report, I might not even do Brolly but its one of my strongest (and oldest) ideas I have. I am more fixed on the drama video I am doing.
I guess one can always say that ones self if the greatest inspiration or canvas to produce your creation. I decided to do so with this video since its very dear to me that I get it right.
In a few months I will leave Alberta for British Columbia to go to Vancouver Film School in hopes to become a director or part of the movie making process in some way. it would be nice to win the "Made In Alberta" award one more time before I go. However it seems like I may have alot of competition for it. Oh well thats always nice
This time I hope to appear at Otafest (if work permits me), Animethon 12 (I wouldn't miss it for the world), and Anime Evolution (I will probably be moving to Vancouver in mid August so I hope to catch this show).
I would like to have a different set of AMVs (or at least one different) for Anime Evolution but I am not going make that priority, only if possible.

Haven't done a entry in awhile, there is not much that needs to be said right now. Taken a break from AMV making in which I plan on restarting some project in May. Right now school (or at least finding one) needs priority. My next AMV project could be anything right now.
I am surprised that Beyond The Sky is getting low reviews. I honestly think its a great AMV. Maybe I should ask someone to review it and so then someone can give me a straight reason, who knows. I will find out either way at Otafest, I plan on going there this time. That is if I can get the days off at work which little by little look impossible. Anyways thats it for now. My next project is a sequel of sorts to an old AMV I did. I hope not to scrap this project as I lead on to the project I have been waiting for years to do. Thats it I suppose - On the heels of a new video 2005-03-12 19:33:45 Well its been awhile since my last entry. What have I been doing? Work and AMV work. For the past month I have been working on an AMV that will be sort of a return and sort of a departure from my style. All I will say right now is that it has something to do with Porco Rosso and Blind Guardian. I am still working on it however so far I honestly think its a special video. I think many will enjoy it (I hope).
