- Tim Owens rant 2005-08-04 00:03:28 It always angers me when everyone blames Tim Owens for everything, or call him a Rob Halford wanabie when he replaced him in Judas Priest. I mean whom else would have rathered front Priest, Toby Keith. When Demolition and Jugulator came out, because certain people hated them they blamed Tim. Even though if you read who wrote every note and lyric it was Owens. Same goes to Iced Earth, while I thought Barlow was a great singer, in my opinion so is Owens. Lets face it people whom else would you rather have sing Iced Earth if not Barlow, Gene Adam, I certainly don't. People bash The Glorious Burden they blame Tim for it yet Jon wrote every single note and produced everything before Tim was put in the studio being considered the vocalist of Iced Earth. I think people just can't get behind Tim when put beside Barlow or Halford. In my opinion I think Owens is better than them, and in other ways not as good. When it comes to fast paced, aggressive songs, he beats the shit out of them. When it comes to the slow ballads, Owens sucks. I am actually looking forward to the next Iced Earth album with Owens singing. Owens is my favorite vocalist. If you dont like the next album, before you blame Owens, check the linear notes and chances are Jon Schaffer wrote the whole thing, he has already confirmed that.

Well I am surprised that the ratings have gotten better, thats always a nice thing.
Count down is happening now if going to Vancouver. I am excited as well as a little bit scared but then its happened to everyone at one point in their life leaving their family and friends for a new life. I would like to make an AMV before I leave but I doubt that will happen. However you never know I suppose.
Maybe soon, maybe not till December when Metal Wolf Productions hits 5 years. By that time who knows. - Sort of figured 2005-07-27 14:00:57 Well my new video is out, however it isn't getting good reviews. Oh well I guess I can't always make a good one.

I finally finished my 69th video, sort of sounds wrong huh. 69 videos, in near 5 years. Funny thing is only 52 or so were made in one year then I slowed down. Of course those 52 videos were not that good till I remade them. So far I am done the AMV but I am still thinking of a good title and I am going to show to a few people I know to see if they can find anything wrong with it before I make things offficial with it. The video is probably the strangest video I ever did. I tried to make it as weird as the anime I based it on. Trying to use footage from that I never seen anyone use before yet.
I will probably put it ont he database tonight after work. Then I will b eon the road to the 70th video, no matter how long that takes. Maybe a week maybe till December who knows. Then maybe I will stop, its an addiction. -
Little or no progress

Well still chugging along on that AMV making trail.
It seems like some people are getting way too cocky around here, well one person I suppose. I dont pay too much attension to the AMV world so it ain't none of my business. I think I remember the guy 2 years ago, saying my AMVs sucked, chances are he probably has it in his head that I ripped off one of his AMV titles.
27 days before I move to Vancouver, 15 more days before Animethon 12.
I hope to have this AMV done by the end of this week. I twont be my final one. Just something about my small ego that tells me I should make my final video at the even 70 I dont know. I figure to finish this strange AMV I am working on by the end of this week then wait till I get a good idea to make the 70th AMV. Probably in December on the 5th anniversary of Metal Wolf Productions. Who knows maybe different as the time goes on.
