Creators block on making/none on thinking of them

I am going through some serious creators block with Sweating BUllets let alone I lack the patience to really go into the AMV very well. I haven't worked on it sinc emy last post, I haven't even done the things I know I can do, there will be some rapid frame shots I want to do but I guess I dont have the patience for them right now. I have spent the time since thinking of what to do for Animethon 11/Anime Evolution AMV contest.
I want to do a drama, action/horror, and a comedy.
I have some ideas but they are all sketchy
Ghost Of Freedom by Iced Earth (from Horror Show, the best metal album I ever heard, I listen to it almost ever day the best metal I ever heard from my favorite metal band) - Yui Ikari (Evangelion) - I would want this to be a follow up from The World Was Never ENough but like I said this is sketchy but i have some good ideas for this one, this one is possible in my opinion. - sort of a drama
Red Baron/Blue Max by Iced Earth (from their new album, all I have heard is from the excerpt) - Zechs(using the Epyon)(Gundanm Wing)- A another sketchy idea, I got it right off the bat listening to it, the song reminded me of Eypon (my fav Gundamn) and since I already made an AMV on Heero in the Epyon, why not use Zechs. - action all the way
I'd Lie For You (And Thats The Truth) by Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell 3 (AMV wise, probably be the final one unless I get any ideas on Meat loaf's next album coming soon) - Orson and Sheris (Record Of Lodoss War) - this idea has the best chance of all the ideas of happening in fact I will do this once I get ROLW original and the newer ones on DVD and sell my VHS version of the oringal set. - drama
Everything I Do by Bryan Adams - Sorota and the brown haired sword girl in X TV/X Movie - This one is sort of sketchy however can have a chance but will take more thinking about it. - drama
Bad Apple by David Wilcox - Xellos (Slayers) - Weird idea I have had for almost a year got it fromt he weirdest place. I was mopping up around closing time at Radio Shack and I heard this on the radio, I was wanting to make a Xellos AMV because I made a promise to one of my best friends to sometime make an AMV to the character. I had certain qualities I wanted for the song and all of a sudden this song played and I said "thats it". However it neede more thought put into it. - Comedy
Tomorrow Never Dies by Sheryl Crow - Generator Gawl - This idea popped in as well and seemed to just click, good chance of this happening. I want this AMV to be about of the 5 main characters in the show, the two girls (Masami and the pink haired girl, sorry I forget) and the 3 main guys (sorry haven't seen the show in awhile to remember the names I think Gawl, Koji, and Ryo) - drama/action. I guess I have a serious addiction to Iced Earth and James Bond movies just the energy I get from them I guess.
Last Dance With Mary Jane by Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers - Wolf's Rain (the flower girl and the main character) - drama
Can't Touch This by MC Hammer - Various - Just one weird idea sort of a hommage to the AMV that no one seems to care for these days that Big Big Truck made to the song "Momma Said Knock You Out" which was one of the first AMVs I ever seen, doing this would be sort of a hommage, at least to me. - comedy
Who's Your Tank - Who's Your Daddy by Toby Keith - Burn Up Excess - The episode with Ryo (the blond girl) and the few episodes when she was witht he tank that has a high AI. - comedy, cant be anything else
Heaven's Denied by Demons And Wizards - Fuuma (X TV) - another idea with him. - Action
Winter Of Souls by Demons And Wizards - Shinji (Evangelion) - Action - another possible follow up to The World Was Never ENough
Those are some ideas I gues sif you didn't know before I really want to make some AMVs to Iced Earth music, as well as make one with Wolf's Rain or Burn Up Excess (with or without Iced Earth). Yeah all sketchy ideas so dont take them all for granted but I would appreciate it if you told me before you used them or ask.
Bottomline I really want to make a AMV with a power metal song, its just finding the right one. - 50% done 2003-08-19 23:07:40 I am 50% done the Sweating Bullets remake, is it just me or time just seems to be screwed up. I feel like I have been working on this AMV for more than 3 weeks when in most ways I have worked on it for 2. I dont know, I have been working on two AMVs, one is the Sweating Bullets remake, the other is Mr.Sandman by BLind Guardian for Akira. Honestly I doubt I will put up the Sandman one up because I have a feeling the critics wont like it because it breaks the 9 second rule like a mother **bleep**er. Its one of those reactionary AMVs wher eyou just put the music to it,I just edited after the modd of the song changes. For example the song begins soft and nice. Then it turns slightly heavy for awhile, and then the final part it goes heavy and fast. All signalling changes in shit. I cant really explain it right now I am just feeling weird these past few days, I am surprised I ever got 50% done right now, even more. I beleive I can get a bit more done tomorrow, probably get to 80% done but then there are a few parts that will take a fairly long time in doing that will take more than a few days and litres of pepsi (good thing i have a 12 pack as well as a 2 litre in the fridge prepared for it, yes sadly I have prepared for it). I hope to continue remakes till 2004 then I willw orry about what I want to put in for Animethon 11 AMV contest. I have alot of ideas throwing around, its just picking the best one. I have one good Idea with a Alice Cooper song but time will tell if I would do it
- Finished Cat Scratch Fever 2003 Revision 2003-08-11 00:47:03 Yes I did and I am mighty proud of the results, I am not uploading it right now I want to check on my financial area. Since I am getting a new job soon I need to know from my future employer if I have to buy my own gear for the job or they supply it for me probably off my next paycheck from them. If I dont need to pay right now and if come soff my paycheck I might make a donation and then upload Cat Scratch Fever 2003. As of right now I am preparing on remaking Sweating Bullets. What a way to start too I am already encoding the VOBs in huvyui codec and when it fills up my hardrives then I convert them to DV codec to save the frames and space. Once I am ready which should be by the end of tomorrow on Tuesday I will be ready to start. As for now I am doing the encoding and while that is going on I am playing Silent Hill 3. I am a survival horror fan and a survivor of some survival horror games (resident evil 1-3, silent hil 1 and 2, in time 3 as well). I enjoy Silent Hill 3 it is much better than the previous and steers away from some aspect, keeps some and does better on the other, freak out factor is uped on this one. A good way to set me straight before I go on to sweating bullets. I should spend a week and a half on Sweating Bullets or less/more depending how much time i have on my hands before I go on the full on new job. Right now I am also watching fan subs of Wolf's Rain (I am Metal Wolf you know) and I really want to make an AMV out of it but that will have to wait I have many ideas and I just need to break them down since i want to make some AMVs for the Animethon and Anime Evolution next year and hopefully win. Right now I am on the 11th episode, drinking Old Milwaukee (made in Canada of course, Canada makes most and owns most of the best beer branks, Molson Canadian is the best). That pretty much it I guess for now
- 40% done 2003-08-07 16:37:51 Got 40% done my Cat Scratch Fever revision, I will probably get it done by the weekend persay. It is coming up quite nicely it is staying mostly how it originally was except for some adjustment slike video quality, better editing but still the same kick the old one had. After that I will work on Sweating BUllets the AMV that failed to be any good from the start, I will remake it and make it better. But that wont happen till probably next week. By September I should be working on a new AMV that I dont think willt ake long to complete.
- 2 years late for rush 2003-08-06 18:55:30 Two years or so ago I went to a Slayer/Hatebreed concert. I guess I came in calm and fine, wrong attitude to have going into a concert like this. I sat out through msot of it, I didn't feel angry or adrenalized at all. However I was for Hatebreed. Slayer was good none the less but I am probably a newbie to Slayer fans. I am not a ture fan I just listen when I am angry or when I want an AMV idea. However I go War At The Warfield by Slayer, the live DVD and I am right now in a adrenalized rush while I am working out. I am start Cat Scratch Fever revision tonight or tomorrow.
