  • Days of the stars and no more opinions 2003-10-04 01:58:24 I guess its hard to get a good free opinion without going to the opinion excahnge board and asking for one these days. Oh well opinions dont really matter much to me unless I feel I need it. Nowadays I don't need it, most of the time I cant take rejection and end up getting dperessed about it. I am happy that the remake of "Victims Of Moira Syndrome" is doing wells tar ratings wise but I know the changes of getting any high marks are none but it dont shake me. I am still getting clips for a remake on "Against The WInd" then after "Enter Orson" after that I will work on my Grey Witch Project. Yeah you heard it all before but thats really all mostly. I ordered some stuff of amazon today like the new KMFDM album and DVD, Project A-ko DVD set and The Reckoning single by Iced Earth. Of course wont get it till close to the end of the month, oh well. Mostly gonna be busy with clip getting and plain out work. I really hope the new KMFDM album is as good as the sound bites are and are not just the best parts of them. Because this year in music has really sucked. Sadly only three albums were decent

Roorback by Sepultura - Alright but not nearly as good as Nation
The Long Road by Nickelback - It was good but nothing truly special
Slowmotion Daydream by Everclear - Probably the best album I heard for the year and thats weird because Everclear is one of those bands I listen to on occasion I am not a big fan of them.

Hopefully KMFDM will breath some greatness int he shit ass music world that is 2003, because Iron Maiden just blew my hopes down the drain.

I dont see how critics love the new Alice Cooper album, the sound bites I heard of the album as well as the full song "novocane" suck royally. Allt he critics say thank god he is out of the Rob Zombie and Manson scene. That angers me because last time I checked he was aroudn before thos eposers start copying his image and making their own out of it. And I acutally liked "Brutal Planet" and I loved "Dragontown". But I guess its like Iced Earth, everyone loves Burnt Offerings except me (the only two songs I like from the album were Burnt Offerings and Dante's Inferno) but I love Horror Show but mostly everyone else looks at it as their worst. Wrong place, wrong time, right for me it seems.

First time I watched a sitcom fully in years, I dont really watch TV that much most of the time I am eithe ront he net, watching anime DVDs, gym working out, at work, at school, at another job, sleep, drinking and eating, not to mention sneak in AMV stuff anytime I got some time free. Since I had a day off I worked on getting some more clips as well as watch Becker or something with Ted Danson. I liked the episode that was on tonight I dont know if it is the first or no but I liked it. Anyways I am tired, got to get my eight hours in.
  • 2003-10-01 01:41:37 Well Victims Of Moira Syndrome is now available for LOCAL download. Now whats next well I am still getting clips for my Record Of Lodoss War remakes that will lead to a new AMV I will do after. It will taker awhile though, I have finally learned how to use AVIsynth. I am so computer iliterate tha tit took me months to figure it out I guess it just took one calm breath and a glass of gatorade and read. Most of the time when I read it I am usually in a hurry or stressed out, I guess now things go smoothly when you are calm.

Anyways thats all for now at least.
  • DONE! 2003-09-25 22:37:11 Yeah I guess like always I ask for people to offer me help and watch this video before I call it officially done but of course no one does, and people wonder why I make "shitty" AMVs. Well the only guy that did help me was Rubyeye which was a year or 2 years ago, who knows, I saved his review on the first make of "Victims Of Moira Syndrome". I made the AMV 2 years ago but it never really got a chance to be shown, the first version did for a month or so on Popndeth's server till it fell. Then after started to remake it and when it was done I could send it out anyway because I had no host so it staye din my library almost unseen by anyone. Then when I found out how to rip DVDs better I decided, hey why not remake it a third time. I finished it, it is pretty much exactly like the second remake just better sound and picture. I guess I didn't completely go by Rubyeyes style of thinking, I respect him and I love all of his AMVs but the way he does his AMVs is not how I do them and not how I like to do them, I guess I like to still go to my style while at times stray from it. Hard to explain but thats how I went by it but I tried to make it "flow" as much as I could get it while not being so bloody obivous with it, not many special effects (transitions) mostly because with this one there was no need except for a few fades. Thats the talk of it, after I go through TMPEG with the video I will go to sleep and tomorrow evening I will do the remake comments and upload the video onto the server. Starting to get the flu, I can feel my body fighting it, it is almost tradition now for this year that to whenever I am starting or ending a AMV make thats important I have to have a flu, while the VOMS remake isn't that important I have already got the next "new" AMV already thought over, I plan on starting it in November and end in December possibly. Then from January to May I can work on the drama and comedy AMVs I am thinking of putting forward.

However in th emonth of October I still plan on making at least two remakes, three if time goes smoothly but I dont bank on it. One being Fuuma Walks I think that was has needed to be remade for a long time, it would be a crime not to because alot of peopel enjoyed that video it seemed at the time I feel brining it back I want it to be rid of all its weaknesses (video/sound quality, loose frames showing up, also my inexperience while using Video Wave 4.0). I shouldn't take me long but I plan on just like all the others to take my time, if I dont I get sloppy and it always shows. If I get Fuuma Walks done in time I may remake either "Against The Wind" or "Enter Orson" it all depends on what happens. Well thats pretty much it for now.
  • Remake just about finished 2003-09-21 13:48:19 I am pretty much finished the Victims Of moira Syndrome Remake. I guess nothing has truly changed about the AMV just more clear cut scene changes, some transitions taken out, some put in. However people who seen the first will not be surprised on this one. Better video quality as well as some better edited scenes however people may hate me because I broke the 8 second rule twice in this AMV, another looks like I did but I didn't it was closely edited. However I am still not finished I will give the AMV to some friends and see how they think it could be better. I still think it needs some work but it is in most ways done. After a week off AMV remaking I plan on remaking

Fuuma Walks and work on that AMV remake for the rest of the month.

Devil Appears Part 1 - I will work on this one as long as it takes to be done but has to be within October

Against The Wind - If I am done Devil Appears half way through the month I might go ahead and remake this one. If not then I wont bother for now.

I am still thinking of a action AMV to do for Anime Evolution/Animethon 11 AMV contest. Well I guess on October I will have to really think about it more.
  • 2003-09-20 14:00:19 I just reviewed my AMV and while in most ways its all I wanted in it, its still not good enough on some points. There is one scene I will most likely remove because I dont think it fits with the next scene I show. There are also somespots of dirty clips in the AMV, they ar ehard to notice but if you look closely they are there so I will go and remove them. Not to mention I need to keep on crucial seen interlaced which I forgot to do before I started to produce it. The biggest weakness however I guess is the lack of transitions where it need be. I feel there are too many clear cutted scenes in it, where one scene goes to another fast where it looks bad on the AMV I guess its just liek Rubyeye said years ago to me that that was one of the weaknesses of the AMV.He was the one who said I should learn how to make the AMV flow. And that is certainly how I try to do it however i am still learning and my style is still a bit the same as it was years ago just more cleaner and such. I dont know but I still enjoy my style of how to make AMVs and I just can't see myself doing any AMVs in Rubyeye's style because that is not how I see them, I would like to but I wont because I can't. My style is my style and i keep it that way and learn what I can in time.

Bottomline remaking this AMV has been a bit of experience but I am still not done yet i feel I need to add more transitions to try and keep flow and so much of a bangscene then bang another scene type of show. I hope I can get it done by the end of the weekend (It feels like Sunday right now) but it all depends since today and tomorrow I am working 8 hour shifts so if I do work on it it will either be a little in the morning or a bit in the night.

I will take my time on it however, if I dont get it done by the end of the weekend then I guess it will be done some other time but the weekend is what I am aiming for.

I know what I want to go for after VOMS anyway as well as some others if time permits before November.

After I finish VOMS however I will take a rest from AMV making and rent RAW 2 and Wrestlemania 19 for the week then I will start on remaking Fuuma Walks.
