  • The pains of lip sync 2004-03-16 02:18:59 Oh how I hate lip sync, or at least doing it, I know I suck every time and eveyr time I try to attempt it, it always looks worse than imagined. I guess sort of goes with my newest AMV that right now I am literally finished, the only thing that makes it not is the sync, using an mp3 (best quality I can find) the song like to skip when in preview not to mention its hard to dictate where soudn waves actually are. For the past 3 hours I have been moving one scene around back and forth, then producing it which takes nearly 20 minutes just to find out that i nee dto move it again. Yes all pains of AMV making I know. This AMV is supposed to be a comedy about hate, and quite honestly its bring more hate to me than smiles however the ending still brings a smile to myself no matter how pissed off I am..... Even Spot.


    Anyways I want to start working on Holy Wars again but if I dont ge tmuch ideas floating back then I may do something else.

    Either way its back to the cutting room. 
  • 2004-03-14 04:47:08 Well AMV wise by Monday night I should be done my "Hate" AMV, as for Holy Wars I have no idea but its close to being scrapped. However my Hate AMV I am sure will make at least some people laugh because its a topic alot can agree with however its a very short AMV.

    if anything the Hate AMV will make its full public debut at Otafest, as for Animethon 11 and Anime Evolution, it will depend on what and how much I get done till that time. I want to get at least 1 or two more AMVs done before the May deadline but if all fails here is how I may enter.

    However I am sure I can get another AMV done well before the May deadline at least i hope I can do the "Dirty Deeds" project then get on to whatever my emotions lead me for the rest of may.

    However with the hate AMV I pretty much have everything done to my expectations however working with and mp3 for this one has led to annoying things, with the sound timing changing when it was like this one time and then moved back or forth the next time around. The only want to remedy it is to use the preview before doing changes so the timing is much more precise. I doubt I can get anything done today thats would be worth muchb ut I know on Monday night I can get it all done.

    Anyways its off to sleep I go. 
  • Back where I started almost 2004-03-10 19:37:35 It seems I can't keep a good idea anymore unless I throw in the anime and start it right then and there. Planning dont work, even neglecting the idea for the whole day till I get home hoping then hope its there freash. I dont know anymore about that i just know I want to make an AMV thats fun yet hard edged. I am almost done one AMV that sort of plays much like A Boy Named Sue, but this time more or less is closer in twine to the character portrayed. I dont know I had the clips while working on Holy Wars and I just couldn't find great inspiration then I just thrown in this song and I already had EVA clips and I just went with it and so far things look ok but I am not making any promises.

    Right now I just feel like something fun and thats all that matters, it seems every time I try to make something heavy like I used to I just lose my attension and inspiration, I just go blank when I work on one place.
    I guess I will just keep on going I got to get some good stuff for Animethon 11, right now I am WAY behind. 
  • 36% done 2004-03-08 02:39:37 36% done the Holy Wars project, however I am start of getting tired of it, this is what i hate about myself when making AMVs, i start to get sick of it middle way through its hard to keep a good drive on making the AMV. Now I am just winging it, I am still making good progress. I guess I will try and gut through it as much as possible till I can't no more.

    Nothing else really new but I guess I am her eto just talk to myself, assure myself of what I am doing.

  • 24% done the AMV 2004-03-03 23:44:39 I worked on the AMV today and I didn't need to do much to get there. Honestly this AMV to me is coming along very well. I just go with the flow while I make the AMV and go right by how my imagination imaged it and if I think of something good at the time I go with it and so far it hasn't failed me yet. Sounds Of War 3 will be a typical Metal Wolf AMV no doubt, a return to rock.

    This is the way I want to make AMVs, more or less the way I wished I could go into AMVs all the time, maybe its just the fact that I am pacing myself more than I ever did, just a little bit at a time. It will be done by the end of March no doubt if I keep to the way I am going.

    Right now I am relaxing while I am listening to my favorite band, AC/DC. I can't wait till WWE Backlash, I will be in the 4th row.

    Hopefully I wills ee Chris Beniot win the world heavyweight title, have the title comeback to Canada (sorry I had to say it).
