Is it just me or is there someone who has been going around making AMVs under the same studio as me without me knowing. That studio being named Metal Wolf Productions, which has only one member and thats me. That is unless I decide or if someone wants to join me, however this "jake" guy didn't ask me, if he did the answer would be no anyway. Has it come to the point where I have to copyright my name or studio so no one would use it. I mean I have been using MetalWolf as my name on the net for 7 years. Using it in e-wrestling (internet wrestling, when it was cool), counter-strike, dozens of forums, not to mention for 3 years here in the AMV community as well as on the site. Just a thought, anybody know what to do about this? I don't sorry if that sounds stupid but I finished a long day serving stupid people so it leaves me ending up like one right now. Back to AMV work I guess.

Another project started
2004-04-02 19:44:21
I started a new project awhile ago and so far its coming along quite well. I dont know how to explain it but I know when it comes out it will get no better star ratings than I have had before. I don't expect this one to be my best. I am just doing it and so far I am having fun doing it. Ryoga is the main character in this AMV. This AMV sort of parodies BOOH2, however I am planing on remaking that AMV right after I finish this one, that is if I finish it without going through another black out of inspiration. So far I have found inspiration from an unlikely source. That source is a power I haven't tapped ever at least through one person and it fits perfectly. If I finish the AMV I will most likely tell the story. I am going off to work now anyway. Tonight I might get 50% done.

An update
2004-03-29 15:30:37
I am currently getting clips for my next AMV, I am planning it to be an Ryoga AMV, as for which song I don't know. I am pretty much winging it. If all else fails I will just remake BOOH2 and then jump right into Dirty Deeds (where I should have been, a month ago). Anyways I will see what I can pull out with this Ryoga project. Mor eor less I don't what i feel like doing these days, maybe that will be the only way for me to pull out some great AMVs. It seems that there is a boom for my AMVs now since alot of my AMVs are in the 3.4 star range. Pretty nice I guess, still hoping someday for a 4 star average or a 5 star average but even the greatest AMVs haven't had the 5 star average I beleive. When I mean by that i mean star average after say more than 20 people rating it. I mean I haven't seen it before, if so then hey I was wrong.
Right now I just want to get my shit together make some good AMVs since the deadline I beleive is at the end of May. I at least want to get one or two AMVs done and ready to go for Animethon 11, maybe even Anime Evolution. I wont be at Anime Evolution but maybe if I have a chance there who knows.
Right now I will juyst continue to go with the flow

Its so hard to keep an idea
2004-03-24 20:29:59
How weird it seems no matter how I try to keep an idea I can never keep it long enough unless I do it right then and there.
I thought it was just me playing it too much that I get sick of it.
So I thought with this new idea I had just neglect it more than usual and it would stay. Looks like my "One" AMV will be scrapped because the ideas I once had are gone. It really pisses me off, guess all thats left is either Dirty Deeds or something else. Right now I am just trying to find inspiration. Since I got the whole night to find it I might as well drink some rum and pepsi, I feel like drinking now since I haven't drank heavily since New Years.

For those who think wrestling is fake
2004-03-24 00:08:19
It pisses me off that some people hate wrestling because they think its fake. Its quite silly I beleive, I mean if they dont like it because hey nothing against it, just dont like to watch it then hey thats fine but here is a rant for you people who think wrestling is fake. In fact I suggest you look at your anime/movie collection and think about it. Lets do a rundown on both sides of entertainment. In one corner the ever so glamorous and over rated live action/anime/animated/televsion etc etc side, then in the other corner we have pro wrestling which less face it is treated like its the red headed step sister of the other form of entertainment. Lets compare shall we.
Professional Wrestling
Season: no seasons they compete nearly over 300 days a year, no breaks unless they get seriously injured.
Stunts: They do all of their own, right in front of you. Their canvas is made out of thin plastic then under laid with hard wood, then three sheets of steel, then more wood, then hard brings to add a little bounce but it ain't no bed. And until you get knocked down on one yourself YOU CAN'T TELL ME SHIT!
Attacks: Sort of follows up from stunts, yes the punches are fake, the kicks are fake. However if one guy don't like the other then it tends to get more real.If wrestling is so fake then why do so many wrestlers end up breaking their necks literally. You know what before you tell me wrestling is fake take a trip over to a man named Darren Drozdov (I may misspelled but former WWE fans know him as Droz), he is now paralyzed. He has been for a few years now because he took a power bomb wrong. Go to him and tell him wrestling is fake because I rest assure you while hockey and football players get herniated disks they usually soak up commercial fame then stop, wrestlers they rehab and come back.
(Corey takes a breath)
Storyline: its scripted, yes
Movies/Television (whatever)
Season: Movies/TV usually film for 4 months more or less on a season or movie itself. Then stop soak up the glamor that BS Hollywood has to offer then off to another movie/TV season or show.
Stunts: Oh yes praise your cool stars but none of them do all of their stunts. Yes the stunts in Hollywood are MUCH more dangerous but less face it, do they perform it in front of 10 000 people 300 days a year or more, no. The stunts are dangerous so yes get trained stunt doubles to do it so it looks good, understandable. The ground could be anything thats harder or softer than a wrestling canvas but hey instead of falling a few feet to the ground thats what scene cuts are for which leads me to....
Attacks: Every time you see Van Damme do a helicopter kick do you notice that right before you see impact there is a scene cut to the opponent reacting? That is Hollywood scene cutting at work, thats pretty much movie making right there. Action scenes is all about making it look like it hit but 7 times out of 10 they didn't hit each other. In fact when it comes to punching and kicking without the scene cutting they do it in the same style as wrestlers do just with out the stomping on the canvas (which they do that to more or less to make it sound like there was contact). Take it from a kid who lived 14 out of his 19 year life watching movies and watching wrestling that wrestlers do better fake punching than Hollywood's biggest stars. Jackie Chan is the only guy who I give my respect to in Hollywood for doing stunts and attacks, no one else. Lets face it though if Jet Lei herniated a disc in his lower back, would he ever do the same amount of stunts he used to? I doubt it.
Storyline: 100% scripted. Ending planned out from before shooting unless a few changes here and there but more or less when you see it on screen everything was pre determined.
Which is more faker
Pro wrestling or movies/television shows
Unless you didn't listen I would say its movies/television. I think its pretty simple. Before you insult me because I want to be a professional wrestler and go on with your wrestling is fake thing take a look at your favorite show or maybe even your movie collection and then prove to me that wrestling is more faker than a movie like lets say Aliens.
Dont get me wrong I dont hate all movies or TV shows. Dont think that just because you may not like pro wrestling that I am performing a witch hunt on you. To each his/her own, however I am only saying this because people like to be more ignorant than usual when it comes to saying no they don't like wrestling. I mean if I ask the average joe if they like wrestling, if they say no more or less because it just not something they like to watch, not their preference. Then thats alright I can understand that. However say its fake and lets face it you are making yourself look like an asshole, think about it.
In the end ITS ENTERTAINMENT! You watch these shows like wrestling or lets say Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It doesn't matter you watch to enjoy, to escape reality for awhile to be something that is both side's sole purpose TO ENTERTAIN YOU. Kicking one form of entertainment just because YOU believe it's fake is no better than kicking the other. I love anime but lets face it, animation movies/shows are faker than any form of entertainment there is. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
Of course thats only my opinion, no one ever listens to me....
