JOURNAL: MetalWolf (Corey )

  • Back again 2006-05-01 10:08:50 Yeah, my computer has been broken for a long time and I haven't really had access to the net very much. So I can't say my return brings new AMVs. Can't even if I had it back that I would be making any anytime soon anyway. I put Society Of The Strange into Otafest just to at least have something sent out.

    Anyways nothing really new
  • Been awhile 2006-03-22 23:55:53 Its been awhile since my last post, not that anyone would really care. I have been insanely busy at Film School. Being a a grip/gaffer/location manager and now editor for a VFS production called "Kelpto".

As I am editing that 10 minute short I am the Sound guy as well as a assistant editor for another porject in pre production called "Home-a-phobe".

So yeah I have been very busy, I was ready to start my next and probably last AMV my cmputer broke, no excuses I figure it just happened, its me and my forever bad luck. My idea for a final AMV is centered around a trilogy in one, 3 songs together. Since I am a guy known for trilogies or sequels of god knows what. I figured I would end it. Right now my ideas are around a roy Orbison (In Dreams) song, possible DIO Sabbath (Computer god) song, and a Eric Clapton (Change the World). Dreams are sort of the connection, but different twists. At this point its still a idea I haven't placed on the board.

Taking that these three songs combined go over 10 minutes which means over 100 MB I wouldn't upload them on this database together but separately.

Either way its only an idea so don't take it serious yet
  • AMV progress at stand still 2006-02-19 02:04:40 Yep I haven't made very much progress with my AMV work lately, been pretyt busy I hope to have them done by the deadlines of both Anime Evoltuion and ANimethon. Why I find ironic is usually I am a contestant to the mad ein alberta award when I lived in Alberta. Now I live in BC and there is going to be a Made In BC award, I wonder if I am eligible for the BC award now, I doubt it but just a thought.
  • Walls falling down 2006-02-05 13:24:23 It seems like I am held in some legal debacle. A guy PMed me a few days ago saying he owned copyrights to my Metal Wolf Productions and that I should stop or something. So I am asking this guy for proof. I honestly dont see how me using the name can harm him. plus I have been using the studio name for 5 years or so. I gues sin the end the tables are turned, last month I was nagging a guy who stole my AMV (took History In Anime, removed my credits and added his own) to stop, now I am talking with a guy who claims I stole his name and he is telling me to stop. I have search the internet for others under Metal Wolf Productions and all I found was me and PlayfulJake who still after me telling him that he wasn't part of Metal Wolf Productions is still doing it. I even went to www.imdb.com and he wasn't there. Even search for his name and couldn't find nothing.

However if he has proof or whatever I will comply, isn't like I have much of a choice. In the end I guess I would be better off just make a new studio under my real name so no one could copyright it. Who knows. Lets see what happens.

As for AMV progress, none at this point.
  • little bit of a long time 2006-01-28 21:55:16 I have been adding more of my AMVs to the youtube thing. Not very good quality but at least anyone can watch it, people who complain about quality have just been spoiled by the golden dounut. I think this youtube thing is a blessing for AMV makers. I just wonder how long the blessing will last before record companies come raining down or when the company youtube can't handle the bandwidth.

I am still working on my AMV project, last or not it will take a long time.
