With These Eyes finally released, I am now working on Shinji's Cryin' remake. Slowly but surely the AMV is getting done.
As for AMV contest news I dont know if I made the final cut for the Animethon 11 AMV contest. I would be a liar if I said I didn't want to make the final cut. However I am confident that at least one of my AMVs will be apart of the final list of AMVs. If not then what can I do, I would be a liar if I said I would not be dissapointed but either way I am trying not to think about it.
I am just happy I can see my friend at Animethon, RJ. We only get to see each other probably 2 times a year or less, always at Animethon 11. You all may remember him as Shadow_Productions. He hasn't made an AMV ina LONG time. Even though we ar eplanning on making another AMV, he might be coming down to Fort McMurray for awhile. We are planning on doing another AMV. As to what AMV I have no idea right now, he has his ideas, I have my own but when the time comes I know we can work on one together. So far we are thinking for Fuuma of X TV.
I will be at Animethon 11, that is unless something bad happens at work where it has to side line me to stay. I am sure my bosses know how important this is to me since I have collectively talked about it for a long time.
The mor ei think about it I should have put in Bat Out Of Hell 3 in the contest instead of Primitive 2 or Everybody Hates Me. However the reason why I didn't is because when I made it I kept the credits in it because they are a BIG part of the AMV, not to mention I didn't make a copy of the AMV without the credits so I screwed myself over there. Sor tof sucks but it can't be helped. Oh well
I will also be on the AMV panel if Vlad gives the thumbs up either way. If he needs another example of my work excluding the three AMVs I put out for the contest I can bring my Bat Out Of Hell 3 AMV, you can tell I am very proud of that AMV. I know compared to most I dont really know if I can really help with AMV questions but I will do my best, funny I have been making AMVs for 3.5 years and I still don't think I am knowledgable to be much help at things.
Either way Bat Out Of Hell series is I guess my bread and butter series of AMVs, I always try to make it better than the one before or as well as different. I dont know but I am proud of all the 3 I created, each one in my opinion has its own soul, thats what I find is special about the trilogy.
Part 1 - Kentaro of Golden Boy (2001)
Part 2 - Ryoga/Ryouga of Ranma 1/2 (2002)
Part 3 - Orson of Record Of Lodoss War (2004)
I wonder if Marie will be apart of the panel this year like last year. I would like to see alot of the cast from last year appear (minus ED of course, to me he never was an real AMV creator, never took it seriously at least to me).
Well knowing me that I am a lazy bugger with arts and crafts I will cosply but be a character that is relatively easy to cosplay, maybe to promote one of my AMVs from the contest I am cosplaying as Shinji Ikari (to my Everybody Hates Me, maybe promote I dont know).
Either way I can't wait for Animethon 11.
Right now I am watching AMVs I have made in the past year starting from the end of Animethon 10 to now. I must say I am getting better you have to admit.

Well it seems my "These Eyes" AMV is being pretty well accepted so far by 3 of the 11 people who reviewed it. I know it will get lower and more or less find a place where it doesn't change much but its a pick me up after putting out Prophecy which doesn't seem to be getting much good reviews as I hoped. Maybe people like me better using soft rock or normal rock and not metal. Oh well I wanted to do a metal AMV just to prove to myself that I could still do it.
I got the new Motorhead and The Scorpions albums and they both kick MAJOR ASS! Any Scorpions fan or anyone who is looking for a good kick your mother fucking ass with a guitar album Unbreakable by The Scorpions is your album.

With the Animethon 11 deadline done now I am merely waiting to see if I get accepted. Right now I am not thinking about it, either way I am going to Animethon 11, either as a anime fan or as an AMV maker. If I accepted in it then hey second times the charm. I dont really want to think about such. Same goes for Anime Evolution.
I got "These Eyes" done awhile ago now I am working my next remakes which will be
my "Amazing" and "Shinji's Cryin'" AMVs. Work on either one should start on the 20th when I get back from my 4 day break.
I am going to Edmonton for 4 days to take a rest from the bullshit that has been my life for a long time. Meet up with my friend RJ (known as Shadow Productions here) and just not think of work for once while I indulge in supporting my metal and anime addictions. Not to mention lounge in a jacuzzi while I eye up Edmonton hotties, my god Edmonton women are hot I dont care I have been to 3 states in US (California, Florida, and Hawaii) and every province in Canada, Edmonton women to me are the hottest. Of course thats my opinion as a person and not a pro Canadian. Its obvious no one cares or likes that side of me.
I am excited to start those two AMVs since I know now I have the experience to make them both be very good AMVs, as good I wanted them to be the first time around. So keep close tabs on them by the end of the month.
As for hosting "Love Bomb" and "These Eyes" I dont know yet. I am either too lazy or too busy to put them ina s well as not wanting to hog all the space. However I do want to have "These Eyes" hosted it is definitely a great AMV in my eyes.
