  • It's official 2005-01-16 22:34:46 Well one of many things

    1) I hate Game Cube/Nintendo
    2) I love Resident Evil 4 (See if you can catch the connection)
    3) My computer is having a nervous break down
    4) So am I
    5) I need a social life (but then I never had one)

    For a week of bickering and being incredibly pissed off at alot of things like my computer, customers, myself, life in general, Game Cube (those bastards get RE4 first thats such a load of shit, if it were not for PS Resident Evil would not be at where it is today), and of course VIZ.

    Either way I love it, its everything done right and very hard too (these bloody thinking zombies).

    My computer is in the shop, they have finally given into the prospect that it was a hardware defect all along. I mean they tried every other excuse

    1) I formatted my hard drive
    2) got a new Windows XP and had it reinstalled
    3) They went through all the diagnostics they got

    However I shown it to my new assistant manager (who is a cool guy) whose father has worked with computers for 40 years and all they had to say was it was a hardware error, the same thing I said. The same thing the error said "hardware error". Whatever I guess

    So with that said I am on my parents computer doing the update now, since I finally won the world heavyweight title in Smackdown VS RAW, now my character nearly has all his attributes maxed (not be cheating mind you, if you dont beleive me you can check him out yourself). I figured to start on the digital RJ on there. I was bored, so as always I popped in a album that I think should mirror the attitude of the character now (well in this version). I did mine with Anthrax's Greatest Hits album. For RJ I used 2 albums that wer epractically same in attitude (and both were 45 minute long albums thats why I used two)

    "Night Of The Stormrider" and "Iced Earth" by Iced Earth

    I know Rj next time he comes down will fix up his character from what I do (he always does and thats expected). However I feel my job is to build up his attributes for when Rj does get here. That means going the easy way and gaining the points by doing WWE Challange gaining money to buy attitube points for Rj. So his character when set to his liking can face The Beast on equal terms this time. I am in dire need of competition, of course I can go on the internet but I want to get a extra eithernet cord so my PS2 can connect to the net work (if possible of course). I have on question but I keep forgetting to ask the guys at EB Games about it.

    Is it possible if I get a USB cord to connect my PS2 (I got the newest model) to my computer and I can take saved files on my computer and transfer them onto my hard drive?

    I am sure it's possible because I got my songs from MTV Music Generator 2 that I want to transfer over and put into mp3 or WAV so when I make the album on a burned CD i dont have to record the music on VHS then use my video card to record the sound. I will lose alot of sound quality that way I much rather a straight PS way if thats possible. However i doubt anybody is listening here anyway.

    VIZ still hasn't sent me any of my stuff, they haven's sent me Shonen Jump yet it is now in Safeway (and they are usually the last place they comes out with new mags).I had to read the new addition from my co-worker (who buys it monthly, good thing he didn't follow me into getting a subscription). Not to mention I haven't got my Maison Ikkoku Vol 4 and its now officially (say that word alot now) 1 month since I ordered it. In 8 days it will be 1 month from when they said they shipped it. Now I am sure it doesn't take that long to ship something from the US to here. I mean I do money orders all the time and I do it through regular postage (meaning I don't pay more for it to get there faster), I mean they get there in at least 2 weeks.

    I mean I would normally order from CNL the anime but its hard if VIZ only allows people to buy the newer additions from either directly from them or from this other store called therightstuff.com (I think). I don't trust the other store's credit card protection policies (I couldn't even find what certification they have) So I used VIZ because it comes right from the company. Either way I am fucked because I still haven't got my copies of either one.

    I got myself a EB Games card that allows me 10% off any used games I buy there, good for one year. Since I got there most of the time in hopes that I might find

    Street Fighter Alpha 3 (for PS or DC)
    or any other used PS, DC, PS2, N64 games I can find.

    I already got 1/4 of the collection I once had when I had the N64 the first time plus a few new additions.

    Speaking of christmas, I have been calling Rj but I can get through, I e-mailed him and still can't get through. So I haven't sent Cindy's present to him yet. If he was still living in LeDuc then I would already know the address. However we all know luck hasn't been on my side lately.

    What else is there to say, AMV wise I am in limbo.

    I can't do the Puppets AMV (side project) because my computer is in the shop (for the 6th time in the last 2 months)
    I can't do the love triangle AMVs (Godai and Mitaka both wanting kyoko) project because I want to use it with Vol 4 footage (I would wait for vol 5 but that dont come out till July and I want this stuff for Animethon 12, if it is in August then the deadline is July and I can make master peices that fast). The trick right now is to get my computer in working order and do as much as possible. If it comes to it then I will just use volumes 1 to 3 since I am sure I got ample amount right there, but I always like to have as much footage as possible to play with (or like a artist I always like to have as much colors/shades/etc as possible to use).

    Since I alreayd learned a new way to up my video quality (as seen in Playing With Priss remake), I know if I can do better AMVs to compliment the jump in video quality.

    If all else fails and I am not as productive as I hoped I can garuntee that "The Drinking Problem" AMV will be the substitute. Because I will be damned if I got go to Animethon without being apart of the AMV contest/panel in some way.

    I have been thinking if I should put Vampires and Palying With Priss remakes on the database. I doubt I will put Vampires up since it has alot of gore not to mention a scene that can be considered nudity (nudity with sex in mind), as for Playing With Priss its possible but honestly I dont know if I would want to waste the space (but then many people other than me put in worse shit). I think I will wait for Cindy to tell me what she thinks of Playing With Priss and the other stuff I sent her. I know what Adam (from work) thinks of Playing With Priss. He likes it but the lip synce is bad (but then I already spoke of it, not even the best AMV maker could make Priss since natural without it looking fake, well they could but not without a major amount of special effects.). I like Playing With Priss, to me is exactly how I wanted it from the beginning when I did it. I did it to the best of my ability and picture quality wise it has the best video quality. However I dont want to put it in as well because it may lower my star average.

    Plus I am still waiting for the right AMV project to do my dedication bit.

    Who knows I guess, time will tell. I am going to sleep, morning shift tomorrow.

  • Long road 2005-01-14 10:01:11 My computer is filled with errors so I am going to have to send it to the computer again. Looks like everything is trying to delay my Love Triangle Project (with Maison Ikkoku).

    Hopefully things will work out soon.

    I got a few exams, one is today, the other is 2 weeks from now.

    I am really excited about this Love Triangle project I want to do about Godai and Coach Mitaka both trying to get Kyoko. I have been thinking about one AMV for Godai, the other about Mitaka. Like I said before completely different songs and attitudes to complement the differences between the characters.

    I want to do the Godai one first and if I deem it successful I might do the Mitaka one.

    Since I usually am pretty good at these dramatic AMVs it should not be that bad (well drama/comedy).

    Anyway I am gone. 
  • Happy New Year, with a new remake 2005-01-02 00:17:26 I spent my new years eve working and finishing on a new remake. I am still thinking of putting it on the LOCAL host but I doubt it right now I want to show it too a few people and get their opinion first. The remake is

    Playing With Priss

    Tomorrow I will send my computer to the shop to get a new video card, and get some bugs fixed. After that I will work on a project that will encompass 2 AMVs I call it "Project Love Triangle". It will be to Maison Ikkoku, and the two main male characters Godai and Coach Mitaka.

    I think its time I get back to what I am good at drama/comedy. The music I will keep a secret but they are totally different songs with different styles, different artists, different genres, different....well attitudes. Just like their counter parts.

    For me I am celebrating christmas and my 4th year in AMV making.

    With that i have a new AMV released. I have been trying to upload it into the LOCAL drive however I can't connect. Since its late at night I will wait till morning to try again.

    back from a Megadeth concert (kicked major ass but it should have been in a bigger venue)

    Now that my vacation is runing close to the end I am doing more upgrades to my computer as well as repairing it. I hoped to start work on Project Rock Out! a few weeks ago but with screws ups my computer is doing there is just no way right now. Which is pissing me off.

    Not much to say I guess other than that for the first time in months I feel relaxed and recharged.

    I hope to get back to AMV work soon.
